oh I have one more!
I do not want to hear that Jan 2018 applicants are unlucky.
some one said that It is really hurt.

We are under processing for 18 months.

If you got ppr early, you are lucky.

Please do not say that

We indeed are unlucky.. People before us got their ppr.. people after us got their ppr.. we are still waiting ... Even some september applicants have got ppr .. And medical expiry? Why did they ask for medical in the first place .. and if they want to extend.. what is taking so long.. i mean they checked the medical.. passed it.. now they just have to extend that particular medical.. what is the issue? I just don't understand the logic..

From the looks of it, all the Jan 2018 applicants who got their medicals done mid 2018 have their medicals expired, And as we know, CIC processes in batches, all our medicals will be extended together and then the PPR should follow, all of us suffering will be done together, just hang in there guys, we got this, we’ve waited this long, we’re warriors lol

Guys medical changed from pass on June 18 2018 to we are reviewing your medical results today morning. Anyone with same experience

Wait, all we can do is wait wait and wait. I have been in Canada for almost 10 years now and I am still struggling with my status in Canada. I feel so bad when I read these postings but I cannot control myself on reading them. My medical still have almost 1.5 month to expire when my file passed everything but they still decided to send for an extension. I did my medical as they required, not upfront. It does not make any sense for me to wait for this extension or pay another one due to their delay. Every time you called them and they will say 'Oh hello sir all your file looks ok and we need to wait for another organization to finish their part etc. etc.' or 'Please be patient since your time is still within 19 months'. I understand that they are just doing what they are told by their boss so every time i will just say 'Oh is that so? Thank you very much for your help.' It is ok for me to wait for 19 months or even longer but the worst part is they don't do as first come first serve principle. They have their considerations to limit the overall average application time within 19 months but that doesn't mean to speed up others instead of ours. Now if they somehow prioritize the backlog maybe they can reduce 19 months to 15 months again. Oh I don't even know what I am talking now. I don't hate to wait but I do hate the unfairness.

I called yesterday again. The lady was nice and she said IRCC sent a note the the medical review department already. I asked that how long does it take. She said all you need to do is wait.

well man, this is what their website says about processing times. I know it can be frustrating to wait but you have no power whatsoever to speed your application up ...no need to get frustrated. just let it flow. calling and reading this forum is a short-term solution which is not, FACTUALLY, going to change your application situation at all. just take it easy, relax and think there are plenty of others in similar or worse (!!!) situations

Yes this is what happened to most of us and that’s why we are talking about medical extension.
When your medical expires it goes to “you do not need medicals” on your GC Key, and then you have to wait for an extension (it will show then on your GCKey your original pass date but extended another year) or a remedical.

The problem we are having right now it’s that we got medicals expired weeks ago and we are waiting for whatever reason for them to go on with our applications .

This is the unfortunate, unfair truth.
It doesn’t matter if CIC agents made the mistake of asking for early medicals or just didn’t manage their time properly, didn’t do the fair thing to process first come first serve... it’s their mistake but unfortunately we pay for it.
