I request all the jan applicants to call cic and ask for updates.. let's bring in their attention that we are waiting!!!

I did today , didn’t get much Info . All he said background is pending , everting else is done .
Are there any 2018 January/February/March applicants that have not received medical request? I’m getting concerned... or is medical request not required for some applicants?
Application says “you do not need a medical exam. We will let you know if this changes”
Also, I tried going for upfront medical since it’s been over 15months and they said I need to have received a request. Is this normal for everyone as well?

Yes its normal , im march 2018 AR , and no medical request , there is application MR to ppr more than a year and others MR to ppr less than 2 months.
I’m feb 2018, no MR yet ! I don’t want to do Upfront. But the waiting is frustrating. Such a long time, and don’t know how much time need to wait after MR to get ppr, I see ppl got another 12 months to get ppr (26 in total)
Totally unfair process. My friend applied even later than me, same program, same background, already got PPR!!

It’s just weird how the system works. I understand applications are different but the inconsistencies with regards to processing times and procedures is almost irritating now.

totally agree, spoke with friend of mine who got MR, he's AR was AUGUST 2018, another friend got his pre-arrival letter yesterday but no MR (AR APRIL 2018). I have done up-front medical in DECEMBER 2018, no-one even looked at them yet my timeline is in my signature. (we all going through the same program).
