Guys, I imagine I am not alone here, but this period of waiting is extremely harsh mentally. Every day you wake up with a hope to receive the good news... every single day for 15 months.... and it just gets you psychologically... that feeling of anxiety and uncertainty. I can't wait for it to be over for all of us. Some people might be stuck at a very crappy job on a closed work permit and can't do anything at all for such a long time period, so that must be even worse. Ok, I am done with my speech for today, here is my timeline:

PNP inland
Feb 2018 - File received
Mar 2018 - AOR
Jul 2018 - Medical
Nov 2018 - ADR
Nov 2018 - Pre Arrival
...........dead silence.....

Good day Guys, My Permanent Residency finally got approved by CIC. I'd like share my time-line as listed below.

PNP inland (AINP) - Single Candidate - Nationality(Mainland China) - NOC 2281(Network Analyst) - No Additional Documentations Requested By CIC.

18/04/2018- File received
25/06/2018 - AOR
16/04/2019 - Medical Request
25/04/2019 - Medical Passed
16/04/2019 - Pre Arrival Letter Received
07/05/2019 - Ghost Update
08/05/2019 - Decision Made
08/05/2019 - PPR

The complete process of Permanent Residency at CIC only took me ONE YEAR!!!!!

I receive an email that there is an update in my account. Then when I logged into my account there was a new message with instructions for medical exam

it looks like what I read is true, people who got their medical in 2019 are getting approved!!
Congrats to you all.
Hopefully they will get to us who had medical in 2018 sometime before they expire

Follow whatever it says on your nomination, if it’s restricted to your employer then its your call. I wouldn’t risk my PR coming this far...

That’s good to know. Seems like people who get medicals request 2019 are getting it faster than people who get medical request in 2018. So be hopeful.
