I moved to Canada in 2015 and i do meet the financial requirements for 2015 and 2016 within Canada.

In 2014, when i was working in India, i can show the equivalent income in CAD. but will it get counted? income earned in 2014 but in India????
please suggest...

As mentioned, you do not qualify(unless you are from Quebec)
We kindly ask you to contact CIC with your confirmation number and withdraw your intend as soon as possible.
there is no point continuing with your application, you WILL get rejected for missing 2014 income.

You don't meet the financial requirements to sponsor. No point submitting the application - it's guaranteed to be refused.

Congrats again for failing this year's application.

Please note that you are still not qualified for 2018 as you should have 3 years of NOA that qualifies minimum income.
Which means, even though you are qualified for 2015, 2016, and 2017, you are eligible from 2019 as NOA for 2017 will be received on Apr 2018.

Please DO NOT ruin someone else's hope for reunification by being careless for others.
You are exactly the type that many other people were concerned about this new system, but he had a hope for no one shows up like this in Canada.

If you base it on that, you might as well say that there is no mention of being successful in the lottery either.

How are you going to fill the form when it specifically asks for NOA line (150) for 2014 2015 and 2016? Did you file your taxes for 2014? You should have. So you should have a NOA if you filed taxes. Unless you only became a Canadian resident in 2015? When did you get your PR? We have to file taxes once we are PR regardless where we live.

It states from that link: Therefore, you have to meet certain income requirements.

And by going to complete PGP app page which was available during the lottery time, you could have seen those income requirements: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/sponsor-parents.asp

CIC did a bad job in general of advertising the lottery requirements, but people really should have read the guide first before applying.

Congratulations!! But you are not a qualified candidate my dear friend for the following reasons:

1. The financial requirements are for 2013, 2014 and 2015

2. Your income earned outside of Canada will NOT be considered.

SORRY to say but you have wasted one valuable chance which a qualified candidate could have used.

You are not qualified and if you do not submit application in 90 days you cannot apply again and if you submit you will be rejected and this take years and while your application is being processed you will not be able to enter subsequent draw. Congrats for ruining one spot of an eligible candidate! Your best action now is to email CIC immediately and withdraw your application for lottery due to not meeting income requirements

Are we able to request actual number of qualifying applications, out of 10k picked?
