You have written perfectly, I should have also added a line of FIFO policy, good one. Others take a note please. In the Ottawa application, also add that the NDVO does not replies to our queries and hence we are contacting other CIC canadian offices for some information.
Also if its alright, plead in the end for some understanding and at least some updates on file.

Find out the reason for this, call them ASAP and ask for status on criminality check.

Thank you for the response Gurik. My BG Status says 'We will let you know once we start your background check'. I believe that is IP1, right? I had received a request for PCC on August 30 and had uploaded it on September 4.

I will call up CIC today evening. Could you please give me the number, I forgot to save it the last time I called. Is Criminality Check the first thing that they do? Is it a part of the R10 process? Just want to make sure I have the right information when I call them.

Yes, its IP1 my friend. It must be because of the PCC.
The first check is R10 and second is criminality, but to be sure ask about both checks.

Can't be sure, as the timing is peculiar. According me either its a technical error/issue or IP1, it is definitely not IP2. As IP2 only starts after file is transferred to Local Visa Office. Sometimes CIC mixes up wordings of IP1 and IP2, hence I always suggest this to people not to only go by wordings, see the timing also. As per your timing its either IP1 or a technical error.
Better call CIC and find out if all checks are okay with the file.

I have emailed both Ottawa and New Delhi just now, i got automated reply from another email id of delhi (delhi-im-enquiry@international.gc.ca). Added the pleading and no responsiveness of New Delhi in the footer of the email. Not expecting a reply from Delhi but still hope prevails.

I am trying to find out the status of my Permanent residence application. I applied on 1 June, 2017 and my application is reaching the 6 month promised deadline for the processing of Express entry applicants, but I have not received any updates on my application for the last 4 months. Recently the New Delhi Visa Office issued updates and final decisions to many June, July and August applicants, but there has been no updates in my account. This has me worried that maybe I missed some update.
Please let me know if I have missed any updates, or whether my file is in progress or still in queue awaiting a Visa officer's review. Any information will be highly appreciated. Many important decisions of us applicants hang on this, please kindly share some information or do the kindness of processing our files within the 6 months time period respectively.

The New Delhi Visa Office is not responding to the e-mails or any queries, hence I am resorting to e-mail Canadian Offices. Please take a note of the situation and help.

I called Ottawa bro they said they can't provide info as it's in Ndvo. Ndvo as usual no reply on email. Do you have a phone number for ndvo

I called NDVO, read my post, it was useless. Call ottawa again and ask them that NDVO is not responding to e-mails or calls. Tell them that you were asked for an additional document and you just wanted to know if they have uploaded the document you have added to your file, maybe you will get some answer. Some agents are rude, some are real helpful, try again, maybe you get a good one this time.
Otherwise GCMS is your only option, it takes 40 days to arrive.

Thanks Gurik. Will call and ask about both. However, I have already uploaded my PCC and when I had emailed CIC, I had received a response saying my file is at NDVO. This would indicate that my R10 and criminality are completed, right?
