We are still waiting for the Permanent resident card( Renewal) for my wife. Application in processing since June 6th. Is anybody else is also in same situation.

My friend applied for renewal in April 2016. IRCC received application on April 1st, started processing on April 27th (I believe) and she got an email a few days ago that she has to pick up her new card in early September. So it took a while even though IRCC didn't ask for any documents / photos / etc.

She says she is supposed to bring all originals documents she sent in with the application.

When I applied for renewal last year it didn't take that long and I didn't have to pick it up.

Till Now no Correspondence from CiC. Call centre agent told us to wait some more time. He said that card has been processed but it is not shipped yet. He did not know why it has not been shipped.

I think, since they told you that, you will receive it shortly.

This is good sign since they did not request anything from you. When your PR card expiry date?

Maybe they will wait until your card expires to send you the new one. This is just a guess.

CONGRATS - WHAT WAS THE EXPIRY DATE OF UR OLD PR CARD. Can u share that.
