I kinda figured that you had frozen those columns - that's a good idea! - I've been cleaning up the Mexico spreadsheet, which was severely abused so I may incorporate that idea there too...ccastillo said:I intentionally froze the first 3 columns..So that, not all people can just add their timeline and try to squeeze it on the existing spreadsheet and accidentally messed up the existing info on it. The diagonal lines indicates that it can't be alter if you are not an admin. Sorry if i have to do this.. Because there is an incident that i have to retrieve the updated spreadsheet because some people accidentally or intentionally (i don't know) wiped out some info on our spreadsheet. As you can see the spreadsheet is pretty neat with a lot of vital information that can be very helpful for everyone to compare it with that's why i just want to keep it that way and i think this is the best way to prevent those kind of incidents.
I have updated your timeline highlight.. Basically, you can update your color status anytime and then i'll just try to update the first 3 columns time to time for any changes.
For the date, i haven't figure out yet on how to keep the date standard... when you guys enter it.. but just in case it won't go through as the standard date or number..
Just go to the following:
For Date Formate: Format Tab --> Number --> More Formats --> More Dates and Time Formats ---- and then choose the MM-DD-YYYY Format
For Number Format: Format Tab --> Number --> More Formats --> Custom Number Format ---- and then choose "0"
no, it's quite typical for the cic call agent to be able to see in the system that your application has been received, this is not an AOR. cic doesn't just automatically send aor the minute the application is opened and put in the system, i am sure it is a bit delayed based on their work habits/protocols. there are people who don't get AOR and just get SA. so at this point, all you can do is wait until CIC sends either the AOR or SA.noiro_dz said:Ok so I just called CIC and told them I did not hear from them even though they received my application on January 13.
They entered my info and confirmed they have my file in the system and it was indeed received on January 13.
They told me they don't require further info and everything looks ok.
I'm not sure why I did not get notified of this, is this king of an AOR?
Thanks a lot rhcohen2014, I appreciate your responserhcohen2014 said:no, it's quite typical for the cic call agent to be able to see in the system that your application has been received, this is not an AOR. cic doesn't just automatically send aor the minute the application is opened and put in the system, i am sure it is a bit delayed based on their work habits/protocols. there are people who don't get AOR and just get SA. so at this point, all you can do is wait until CIC sends either the AOR or SA.
If you wrote your email on the forms, you'll get it through email only.hassan51214 said:Do you get an email for SA or is it sent via normal mail ?
that's not exactly true. CIC has been known to send SA through regular mail even when an email was provided. They tend to switch it up every so often.PhantomUser said:If you wrote your email on the forms, you'll get it through email only.
i just did. Thanksccastillo said:HI Cesuntal,
I noticed you are not yet on spreadsheet.. i have added you on the lower part of the spreadsheet just update the missing info so i can finally add you on the final list.
Thanks and congrats on your AOR!![]()
Then I wouldn't be worried. If the application wasn't returned and they are requesting the missing documents which i assumed you mailed to them, you will not have to start over in the March Queue, give it a few more days and see if you get SA, i received AOR on March 13th but haven't received SA so I wouldn't be too worried yet.Bubbles87 said:They didn't return it. Just sent an email two days after AOR to send the documents ASAP.
I already sent my application and got AOR last week and as one of the prove that I am still in continuous relationship with my husband is that my vacation ticket to visit him during the summer. It will be along vacation four months not sure what will happen but I have to see and spend time togetherPhantomUser said:Anyone planning to go on vacation while sponsoring someone? Has anyone tried for one more than a month?
Well that's a bummer. If nothing comes by the end of the week I would give them a call if I were you. I'm a Jan 13th too, and received my AOR Mar 17th, ECAS fully functional, but still no SA. I'll phone them if nothing comes by the end of the week too, as it's already past the given timeline.noiro_dz said:Still nothing for us, January 13 applicant!!:'(
Did you put the sponsors information to access ecas? I have AOR and no SA and ecas can't recognize me or my sponsor in the system.Sheepdog said:Well that's a bummer. Yeah, I put the info of my sponsor. It started working 3 days after we received AOR.jamsham12 said:Did you put the sponsors information to access ecas? I have AOR and no SA and ecas can't recognize me or my sponsor in the system.
