I am feeling the same, I sent mine 13 jan I am so worried :(

I wouldn't be too worried. If someone at CPC Miss signed for your package it is surely soon to be processed. Be patient.

Online status is decision made .... N medical received....... What does it mean ... Didn't get SA Mail yet ??

I believe it means you have your SA approved already and they have your medicals as well. Congrats!

Couriers like DHL, Purolator, UPS etc, use Robert Speck Parkway and Canada post uses Station A :)

Bad news from another thread:

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/security/police-cert/north-america/united-states.asp

"...Citizenship and Immigration Canada does not accept FBI police certificates issued by FBI-approved third party private companies. Only police certificates issued directly by the FBI will be accepted. ..."

[page was updated 9 March 2015]

"What happened?!?!?! What happened to their compassion for those stuck in the 16-18 week queue for reports directly from the FBI?"

I thought I'd post it here in case some of you don't see the other thread.

We used a third party because it seemed as though the CIC recommend it to save time when we were filling out our application. They've changed their tune. :( Time to get the fingerprints done again, I guess.

Has CIC asked you for another FBI background check? I received my AOR but not my SA. Should I expect a missing documents request soon? I also used a 3rd party, a channeling agent, to avoid the 4 month FBI background check wait. Was the March update, the thread's update or CIC's update? If that update was made by CIC, surely they can't enforce policies on applications that have been submitted already?

I'm worried. I live in Germany. Getting fingerprinted here is a pain.

No, they have not asked me for it at this point, and I cannot know if they will. I have my SA already, and the CIC says they have received the medical report. I'm not sure if this is a good sign or meaningless?

Since it takes so long, as you pointed out, we have decided to start the process preemptively. For us it is not too difficult or costly to get fingerprints again, so the choice was easy. It's unfortunate it would be a huge hassle for you. :(

The March update was the CIC's update. The hope is that since our applications were in before that date, that they will honour our third-party reports. But we can't know really. ???

I'll be sure to update here if the FBI report is requested.

Hi Guys,

I had sent my outland application to sponsor my wife in January. She is in India. And i just got an email from CIC saying that they have forwarded my application to Delhi-India office. So I was just wondering what happens next now?
How long is it going to take?
Has anyone else from Jan. 2015 application sent to Mississauga received this sort of letter?
Please reply guys.

Thanks,
AK

I have sent application for my spouse on January 2015. Nothing got yet ! I was not working at the time, so didn't send my employment details, rather sent letter of support from my family members. Don't know will it impact or not? I am starting my new job from next month only? If anyone in a similar situation please tell how to deal it.

I wouldn't worry too much. We just got approved for sa and my common law partner wasn't working either at the time the application was sent. We just sent in lots of proof of how she could support us if necessary. I think their main thing is they just want to make sure you will not go on welfare. I'm sure you will hear something soon.

Hi guys just check my ecas sponsorhip - DM & Application Received- Medical received.. hoping for a PPR soon

What is the time frame to receive SA after AOR?
