Hi, I just called this number just now..18882422100 and asked about the processing of sponsorship approval. I asked her if the processing time is still consistent with what date they have put in the cic website. She said that they are still working on applications received on Nov. 6 2014 and that it is somehow impossible for january 2015 applicants to be receiving their AOR's yet as it is too very early. She said that if you have given them your email address or mailing address they will send it to either one.

So maybe one of you guys can try calling this number and ask again the verifications of the processing of sponsorship approvals?

I will give them a call, is this the number that only works if you are in Canada?

I believe so. Maybe there is a day that they randomly pick one lucky application per month.. Haha coz i saw one application on November thread who happend to be faster than her batch as well. But you still have the title of the FASTEST .. 7 days! Wow! you must be praying really hard.. lucky youuu!

Hoping everyone gets lucky soon! Just keep us posted once you received your sponsors approval..

Btw, can you give us a little background regarding your application.. were you just sponsoring your husband? how long have you been together and do you happen to have a dpendant included on your application.. how many inches of docs did you send in? haha im just wondering.. so i have an idea on what cic wants! haha they are very unpredictable! I sent in my application 02/05 on the same address that you used.. and haven't got anything back yet..

This probably sums up the process perfectly, we all know we need to be patient but the outland option always had the benefit of a very quick stage 1 so we all can feel a little fed up that the time has tripled in recent months. I will check back in a week and hopefully those who have been waiting the longest will be approved soon.

I got an EMAIL today Feb 5 2015 From CIC with my UCI and File number,

7 Days after i Sent it


1) is this an AOR?
2) did anyone else get this email already?

I sent mine on the 29th, they received it on the 30th and still nothing. I'm so jealous! Lucky!

used paper clips and stables, sent it organized and with lots of proof.

According to November spreadsheet, looks like they are starting on Nov 18 applicants. At least we know it's moving along... Page still states nov 6th...

Maybe some applications are fortunately put in wrong pile... maybe they put yours on top of the Nov or Dec pile lol...

I'm getting so nervous and I still have to wait so much longer, I really just want to know that my application arrived to the right office...
