I admit that was our mistake. We should've checked what they require very well. He's on his way to get the AOM today. We'll just wait for his passport to be sent back, and he will renew it right away. It's very disappointing that if we don't take the initiative to ask, they wouldn't tell us right away. And u were right that on my first email, they didn't really check what's wrong on our files. As of now, those are the only concerns they brought up. I think that if they need more documents, they should've asked it now when they looked at it. Hopefully, after we sent back those two, visa will come soon.

Hey guys!

So we were requested additional documents on December 24th, we have all of the papers ready to send but I have a couple questions.

Ive read somewhere that Immigration officer actually doesnt look back to your file until the 30 days passes, is this true? (That means that they will look at my file again January 23rd)
Is it better to send an email or hand in the additional documents?, I'm in Jordan now so I really dont mind handing them in by hand to the embassy.
What is the time line after documents are submitted, again I've read somewhere here that its maximum 3 months?

Can anyone shed some light! Also, is it better for me to order my notes after January 23rd so that I can confirm that the IO has my papers or does it not even show up?

Manila Visa Office?? I've heard of stories from last year's application. Some only took like 4 months to process and they're already here. I hope we'll get ours soon.
My husband just got his passport back for renewal, hope that when he pass it again, he'll easily get the visa.

Hey ojamnai, still haven't heard nothing from CEM. Yeah me and my life had our expectation base on 2014 applicants. Till now nothing. I just hope they will finished it soon. I missed being with my wife

I don't think it is true that they wait 30 days. I think it all depends on the IO workload.
Just try to be patient. I know that is a huge task because all immigration has us do is wait. It is good they asked for additional documentation at least they are moving your file forward - which is good news.

When I sent documents to the visa office I emailed them and then also couriered the paperwork as well. It might have been overkill but wanted to make sure the documentation got there.

Hey ojamnai, still haven't heard nothing from CEM. Yeah me and my life had our expectation base on 2014 applicants. Till now nothing. I just hope they will finished it soon. I missed being with my wife

And they said medical exam will expire after a year. We opted for the upfront as well, so it will expire on the 1st week of March. So I hope we'll get it before that.

I have contacted my MP which he got back to me last week and contacted an CIC to look into it for me. If I don't hear anything by the end of this week. I plan on sending an email to CEM on Monday, February 1, 2016. I hope we will hear some good news soon. It is silly how long it is taking.

I live in Edmonton, Alberta. I contacted my MP by email. Yesterday my wife check her status and got DM!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We are so happy and fill with joy. Now we are just waiting for her to received her passport.
