It has been a long time since I have been here on this thread and coming up with great news that decision is made and visa stamped. It's been a long wait time but no complain with no additional requests from the embassy and a pretty straight forward case like mine.

I forgot to update but my hubby landed in December! It was issued at the end of November! Yay!!! He has an interview for an assistant manager job on Wednesday, we got our own place, our kitties and doggies are happy and we have begun trying to conceive! Life is finally how it should be!

Worst bureaucratic experience of my life. Submitted application in April 2015, sponsor approved May 2015 (great work mississuaga), transferred to Hong Kong in June and the file has been sitting there untouched until now.

Really sorry about that. I am a February applicant too.and know some April applicants who are still waiting.

Until now...nothing!!!
Emailed them 4x ... same generic answers.
How long does someone checked a criminality background with clean records and everything?

Waiting...patiently.

File submitted April 30th. Currently im in "Application Received/Medical Received". I haven't heard anything back from them. Visa Office in in Beirut. Any ideas?

I'm also curious if the DM is a letter that actually says "Decision Made" or is it simply a letter for PPR saying that they are ready to issue the travel document??

It depends on your VO... Since my husband is American, we didn’t her PPR, but in your case more than likely, your VO is not visa exempt, so they will ask you to send the passport, send it back and then the COPR...Just a little more waiting....
