OMG OMG....status just changed to in process


We received your application for permanent residence on April 27, 2015.
We started processing your application on July 21, 2015.
Medical results have been received.


It's already been a month since they started processing it though and no passport request yet. I'm gonna have to check hubby's email ..maybe something went to spam mail.
April applicants....September is definitely our month!

They received mine the same day -- crossing fingers! ;D

Hey Droopyd,

I was reading you previous post and see your application is going through the Ottawa office. Yours might get processed faster hahhaha mine is going through Vienna.
What I've seen with Ottawa office is that they usually just have everything ready..then put "in process" and soon after you get the paperwork.

Vienna is usually way slower that Ottawa but maybe because I updated my address last week, they decided to update the status too while they were at it

2) We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your
application(s) on August 8, 2015.
3) We started processing your application on August 7, 2015.
4) We sent you correspondence on September 3, 2015 about the decision
on your application.

I have not received any email. Can someone tell me what this number 4 reflecting? Is it bad or good. Did anyone else receive this wording?

We all got that kind of wording. You most likely got approved
Give it till Monday or Tuesday to get the email....I got few days after it said decision made.

I'm pretty sure he is referring to the sponsor approval phase I haven't seen any one get corp in 2 months, although it would be nice!

Copr is the final step. It is the Confirmation of Permanent Residence document which will outline your conditions.

I think coming from the States can be quicker as it's easier for CIC to verify documentation, etc. Plus I won't have to send them my passport (or have to demonstrate fluency in at least one of Canada's official languages).
