Got PPR, appendix a, advisory on marriage from CEM today july 6 :) thank God

Congrats Jolei!!!! That's awesome to hear!!! Thank you for sharing gives me an idea just how long must I wait. @LLAngel, yeah I was surprise just how quickly CIC was. Good luck to the both of us. Good day today a lot of exciting news.

GOOD NEWS!!!

Hi everyone! I still can't believe how fast our processing has been. This is our timeline:
February: Upfront Medical Exam done
April 16: Application for sponsorship mailed
April 18: AOR
May 16: SPONSORSHIP APPROVED
June 16: DECISION MADE, file transferred to MANILA EMBASSY
July 6: Email received asking for PASSPORT, NBI & RPRF

Never did I once called the immigration for any updates, we waited patiently. Ever since, I've been doing all my applications in a very organized and complete manner. I started as a caregiver, got my open permit and PR in a very speedy process. In all of those applications, I've never called or email-ed them for updates. I've learned that it helps a lot when you make your application forms and requirements very neat and complete. That way, it's easier for them to process your applications as well.
We've submitted LOOOOTSS of PROOF OF RELATIONSHIP that would satisfy the VO.

Goodluck to everyone!

My husband received his COPR!! :)

hello guys, i have a question. I'm a little bit worried, my husband and I are planning to go on a trip to Japan on October. i was just thinking what if the visa officer ask for PPR and they hold it for like 2 to 3 months before VOH. how can i be able to travel. Is it a good idea if i attach a letter indicating my concern together with my passport for them to know my case by the time they ask for PPR. i apologized for being so paranoid. I'm thinking a precaution. reply is highly appreciated. thanks :)

Thanks guys manila VO is pretty fast now. :) i have emailed them about 3 times, to change info in the address and to say my concerns etc. :) i hope this helps :)
