Of course it's OK ...I'm on night shifts in the next 2 weeks so I'll probably be checking this forum often

My husband is in Europe, we are going through the Vienna office. I have a lot of filipino friends here in Canada though! Our cultures are surprisingly very similar

Just wanna share mine, coz we're almost on the same date of the applications sent to CIC and until now ours is still clueless. My husband sent the form April 14, 2015 then tracked that the CIC got it April 17, 2015 and until now never received AOR or anything about the application. It's kinda frustrating for our part on what might be the reason why we never heard anything about our application. Even in the ecas we can't see if there's anything about our application. Just tried to call the call centre but can't connect. So sad but still hoping and praying that in time it will be okay. Thanks for reading this!

Hi Puzza! Thank you... I'm happy that our application is doing well. I just wanted to share this to you. I met a lady from IOM and we became friends. They sent in their application last April 8 but until now they haven't received any feedback or email. They can't even track their application. Don't get too frustrated lets just pray for it. I hope your application will be approved soon.

Congrats Ellise!!! We almost got the same time line. I'm at the same stage as you right now just waiting on Manila Visa Office notify us for an AOR2 and requesting my wife's passport. Hopefully we both hear something soon. I hope they issue our spouses' visa soon so we can be reunited soon. The perfect Christmas gift would be able to spend it with my wife

Hi Guys! My husband from Edmonton called CIC and spoke to an agent, saying they emailed our agency last June 26, 2015 saying he is elligible to sponsor me and they sent the application back to Philippines already. Is that a good sign? How long will it be before I hear from Canadian Embassy Manila? And what is SA? Thanks!!!

Hi Jlizardo! We almost have the same time when the CIC informed my husband through email that they transfer our file to Manila Visa Office, my husband received the email last June 25. It's a good sign because it means that they're processing our application. Right now I'm waiting for the AOR2 and passport request from Manila VO.

GOOD NEWS!!!

Hi everyone! I still can't believe how fast our processing has been. This is our timeline:
February: Upfront Medical Exam done
April 16: Application for sponsorship mailed
April 18: AOR
May 16: SPONSORSHIP APPROVED
June 16: DECISION MADE, file transferred to MANILA EMBASSY
July 6: Email received asking for PASSPORT, NBI & RPRF

Never did I once called the immigration for any updates, we waited patiently. Ever since, I've been doing all my applications in a very organized and complete manner. I started as a caregiver, got my open permit and PR in a very speedy process. In all of those applications, I've never called or email-ed them for updates. I've learned that it helps a lot when you make your application forms and requirements very neat and complete. That way, it's easier for them to process your applications as well.
We've submitted LOOOOTSS of PROOF OF RELATIONSHIP that would satisfy the VO.

Hi Elise! Really? So your husband is here in Philippines right? How do you guys check the status cause obviously the ECAS is unreliable. Upto now the status I have there is just application received and medical received. But we already got the email that its here in Manila already.

Nope. My husband isn't here. Same status as mine on ECAS...it is also being sent to Manila Visa Office. We got the email that they sent it out to Manila last June 25 and hoping for AOR2 after a month from the time of SA....

So after months with no emails, AOR from cic i finally got someone who was helpful - they gave me my application number and i checked ECAS. . . .however now im worried!!!

We started processing your application on May 27, 2015.
We sent you correspondence on June 25, 2015 about the decision on your application.

???? we havent received anything.
