Nothing yet, since they started working on application receive April 1st. All we can do is wait patiently hopefully we can get our SA by next week. Fingers cross

On May 19th they were working on April 1st applications. Now 13 days later, they should be working on mid-April applications hopefully.

Hopefully they start giving out SA for April applicants

Tuesday is the day when things happen 8)

Megin you are right, our timeline are same :P still waiting to gather, did you have received AOR?

I hope we can get our SA this week.

Just logged into ECAS and saw this today:

"3.We sent you a letter on May 29, 2015 about the decision on your application. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us."

Hopefully that means SA and hopefully I can receive the letter in mail soon. Feeling a bit relieved. Now the looooooooooong wait begins with NDVO.

Thanks lexDR...I do hope that the DM status on my ECAS means SA. I hope that your SA is just around the corner...maybe check again later in the day.

What is surprising is that your AOR was almost 15 days before mine even though our applications reached CIC around the same time. And now they sent me SA - its so weird how these guys work. ::)

DM :) the letter was sent on 29 may

Hope so. Nothing new to report for us -- still waiting for SA. I'll feel better once that is done and the file is transferred so at least we're waiting in the final queue, rather than the first.

It's been 14 days since my AOR....seems like they slowed down again because a lot of people were getting SA within 1 week of AOR.

I'm thinking to try a visitor visa once I get SA. I've been very sick lately...sucks being stuck in bed and not have my hubby here :s I don't have any family in Canada...I'm all on my own :( :( :(

I have hypothyroidism so the smallest stress makes me so weak and exhausted....and when I see 16 months waiting time for Vienna, just makes me cry!!!!

I wish CIC was a bit more flexible with visitor visas. It would be much easier to wait soo long if we could at least spend a few months together every 6 months or so. 2-3 weeks together out of 1 year....is really not enough :(

Sorry for rant...just feeling down!

The processing has definitely has slowed down. :(

April saw AOR times of 22-24 days on average. (There's a steady decline from January to April.)

I'm at 28 days already having my app received May 5th with nothing. I don't know of anyone in May who's received AOR, so clearly it's not just SA timeline that's jumped up.

I would really like to meet someone who worked at the case processing centre just to find out how everything works. It seems like the system could use some serious revamping . . .

so how many people (from April) got the SA?
