Does anyone know if the Ottawa processing centre send out AOR 2

I know some offices do and others don't bother.

hello Everyone,

i am worried right now , my wife went back to stay in canada on feb 4 and i sent my completed immigration forms back to her on 20th feb by courier , but she wanted to be on safe side so she hired the immigration firm , the immigration firm did nothing new with my application , and on 5th march i heard from my friend that generic form has changed , so i printed new forms , signed and sent to my wife again , which she gave to our immigration firm (they didn;t bothered to inform my wife about changed forms ) , and then we waited and they told my wife they sent the application by 20 march (so long even after they got all forms completed and filled) . then around first week of may we asked about our file number , but they said they haven't received any. so we checked here , even the guys who have sent forms by first week of april, have received their AOR. so we asked about the courier tracking number , they gave us after two weeks on my 19 by checking on courier service , they said our parcel was sent on 22nd april and received in mississauga on 23 april. so they lied to us. now we are asking about the copy of all the forms as i know the forms got changed in april again .

i just want anyone here to please help us in this matter and how can we remove that immigration firm from acting on our behalf , and what should be our course of action in this regard , my wife is very stressed about all this . please help.

I am in a similar situation. I used an immigration lawyer. We hired them in December and our application was finally sent in April 7, 2015. I have heard nothing and my lawyer has told me to be patient. It is very frustrating. Almost everyone on the outland spreadsheet has received AOR but I have heard nothing. I am waiting until they say they are processing applications after April 7, 2015 and I will call CIC myself to find out where I am in the process. I am almost wondering if CIC does not update the information on line because I have requested a representative.

That being said if you choose to no longer be represented there is a form that needs to be completed and sent to CIC. It is a personal choice. Perhaps call your representative and let them know that you are not happy and find out what options they have for you. I am going to wait as I have paid a lot of money to the lawyer and don't want to waste it. My thought is also that I don't want to have an issue and not have legal representation as I have never done this before. ;D



on a quick note we have already paid full fee of the immigration firm , and we have no AOR yet even after sending file on 23 april

Based on what I have learned here, Ottawa typically doesn't do AOR2.

I just recived my AOR1 .I am so happy ;D.Cic received my application on april 30.
But I am trying to check my application status ,unfortunately nothing is showing there.I am using my UCI number to log in.But I have no idea why it's not showing me with any updates? :-[

It take some days till you will be able to login, dont worry

Its very early for ECAS It is usually activated after SA so give it a week or so

Based on some of your older posts, your application was received on Apr. 30th. Have you gotten AOR or SA?? It's awesome if you've gotten SA so quickly.

That's great. I'm happy to hear of anyone getting some news, in the threads I am following it seems like things have come to a standstill. I was so encouraged when we got AOR back on May 6 but then it has been nothing but silence. It's frustrating that Sponsorship Approval takes such a long time, especially since that's the easy part.
