I thought about doing this but I already wrote them back asking about the situation so I acknowledged the receipt of their email.

You are right, but I would still go on Monday with my passport and get inside the embassy and explain them your situation and probably they can give you some clarity about your case.

Man what a difficult situation they have put you in.

If you really want to know for sure what happened, you should request ATIP/GCSM Notes under Access to Information Act., it does take a month to receive them and probably by the time you get then you will already have your passport stamped but in the f..ked case they take longer than a month to call you back you will receive GCMS notes before and you will have real information to make a more informed complaint.

I am really sorry for your situation. It seems very strange to me given that they called you. Until now I didn't know they would call by phone, I thought they only send emails. Anyway, I think you should try and go today to the embassy and stated that if they made a mistake on the first email, why you have to be so sure that the second was not a mistake as well? And that you dont want to miss the chance so thats why you are going on person to clarify!! I think that's completely acceptable!!!

I am really pleased to tell you that I received my passport and CPR yesterday!

I cant tell you how happy we are. JUST one tiny little detail : They misspelled my middle name on the Visa, they have written Elizabeth without the final H. Funny because its not even a latina name is the name of their Queen jejejejeje. Fortunately all of the other documents are correct (CPR) fuif!.

Anyway, I wrote to them as soon as I notice asking what to do. I think worst case scenario I will have to pay another $100 for the courier

I recommend that you guys read your papers very carefully !

Yes, it is exactly one year from you medical exams date, and it states clearly that this date is not extendable.

hello guys im new here and i have a question related with the process in order to get my PR
well i am from mexico I applied under h&c and i got AIP so they asked me to get medical security and financial also they asked me for the PR fees and for my passport, all at the same time and i think thats kind of rare because i was reading all the comments here and all of you were asked for the meds , security and then when they received the meds then they asked you for the passport

so the question is do you think thats is normal ,is that good , bad or doesn't matter
the second question is .. approximately how long do you guys think its gonna take to get my passport back w the visa on it. they have everything meds ,financial, fingerprints, passport we paid the PR fees
