Dear friends, after 13 weeks of waiting and thanks to God, I am very pleased to tell you that yesterday the FBI mailed us the US police report. Now I have to wait patiently for the report to come to El Salvador, I hope they get here on time.

Thats is the final document that we need to send to Mexico so we are really excited :)

I will follow your advice and recommend my partner renewing his passport this week to send the copy to Mexico as well and hopefully I will get my PPR soon!

Good vibes to all of you and please update your progress!

Congrats Elizasalaz!

Hi. I got my PR yesterday. I am so happy!!! :)

Quick question. For the confirmation of current mailing address, what do we have to send/do? If we have to send a utility bill, for example, should it be translated?

Thanks

SACA

Congrats SACA!!

Hi Guys! I was able to find someone who has an account with UPS and I sent our passports with the prepaid included to Mexico. The passports were sent on Tuesday and it got to Mexico today, Thursday. Thanks for your advice JaraPablo and EduardoJRP.
Secondly, I just saw that the UPS package was signed for by SWALDO SALINAS. Is there someone on the forum whose documents were received by this person at the Canadian embassy in Mexico?

The 2 envelopes I have sent to MVO were received and signed by him.

Dear 2014 FSW Mexico City applicants.

Could you please confirm if the mailing address to send the police certificates is still:
A)
Immigration Section
Embassy of Canada, Mexico
Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra 193, Col. Granada, 11520, México, D.F.

The mexico.gc.ca website lists another address.

B)
Embassy of Canada
Schiller 529, Col. Bosque de Chapultepec (Polanco)
Del. Miguel Hidalgo
11580 Mexico City, D.F.
Mexico

I want to be sure I am mailing to the correct address, is it A or B?

Thanks for your help

According to the email from them that I received is the option A.

Hi everyone, we had a smooth landing in Toronto last saturday, no questions asked by the immigration officer. We already have our SIN cards, bank accounts, cel phone service and applied for child benefit.

Next up: Health cards. You need a proof of address to apply, so any mail directed to you by post will do for this step.

Good luck all!

Hi guys.

I need your comments please.

I received the PPR on Aug 11th, I sent the PPs on Aug 12th and they received them on Aug13th.

Yesterday, Aug 17th, Decision Made appeared on ECAS, but the details are:
...
...
...
4. We sent you correspondence on June 17, 2015. If you have not yet provided the information or the requested documents, please do so as soon as possible. Please wait until you receive the correspondence before sending us additional information, as the correspondence will outline all information that is required.
5. We sent you medical instructions on June 17, 2015. To avoid delays, please provide us the information requested in the letter as soon as possible. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

This was not there before and there's nothing else after these lines.

On Jun 17th I got the Medical, payment and police requests. I went to the medical appointment, paid and sent the police certificates on time. The status of Medical Received never appeared.

Do you think everything is Ok, or should I contact them to let them know that I sent all the things? As said, they already requested the passports and they have received them.

Thanks

Congratulations to Chucksol, SACA and EduardoJRP.

SACA, I would email them just to be sure, but if they asked for your passport it is because they are going to stamp it with the visa. I have never heard of a case where the applicant got rejected after passport request, there is no point of asking for your passport if they are going to deny your application. So wait for your stamped passport.
