Hi Everyone,
I'm new to the forum. I find this forum quite informative.

My application details are as follows:
Category: FSW2
Visa Office: Ottawa
NOC code: 1221
Job Offer: Yes
Application recieved at CIO, NS: November 5, 2014

Wishing everyone best of luck. My waiting game has just begun, but I will post updates as I get them.

I am thinking of applying thru FSW with arrange employment.
These things aren't clear with me:

1. How do you get arrange employment?
I know I can talk to my employer to give me permanent job offer, but will a letter from my employer suffice? or they have to get LMIA stating permanent instead of temporary?

2. Would it be too late to me?
I still need to get my papers prepared, probably would need a month.

3. With regards to reference letter, does all job experience needs to be specific with job description, task, etc. or just the recent would be fine?

Thanks in advance to whoever would answer.

Hi there

My Ielts score is as below

reading 7.5
listening 7.5
speaking 6.5
writing 5.5

I am going to apply for PR in high skilled category with LMIA(previously LMO) .So my question is my IELTS writing score is sufficient to apply for PR?
Your response is appreciated.Thanks.

1) idk
2) as long as the cap is not reached it is never too late. And if it is an arranged employmet so the cap is not an issue. So again, never too late.
3) yes. The refernece letter needs to include all the tasks and duties + salary + number of hours + letter head +company website + benefits + status of the job (permenant or contract. Full or part time).

Hi Friends

Hey raju ,

If ur ecas is showing medicals received u r good to receive ppr before march as long as u have no criminal ecord,, ndvo is the busiest visa office buddy ,, they stacked up all the files which r done with medicals and started taking care of new files because they have to clear maximum files before December ,, this was the info given by a guy from ndvo who mailed Chris Alexander immigration minister ,, Chris also said to him that they will be issuing ppr from last week of November ,, I got this info from 2014 fsw forum ,, I did my medicals in May and waiting for ppr ,, I am February applicant,, good luck buddy,,

Thanks Chris for the info.

At this point it looks like, for most of us, it's going to be early next year.

I mean, we haven't even got ppr yet. Even if they did start nov end, how many visas can they give out in a month?

Since Jan 10, 2014 applicant just got their file number on 21st Feb, I would expect mine to be here in the next 15 days.

That's roughly 6 weeks from application being received.

I don't think so. They are now recieving high volume of app. And if you read the other comments and the ss; it's taking AT LEAST 4 MONTH to get per or to hear anything from sydney.
