Hello Everyone,
My FSW Arranged Employment PR documents reached yesterday to Sydney NS by Canada Post. Does anyone have idea how long it takes to get first communication on application? I guess the first communication is PER email and average time it takes is 8-10 weeks right? Please correct me if I'm wrong. Also any idea for applications for Ottawa as Visa office?

Thanks,
Vaibhav

PERs are being sent out in 4-8 weeks.

Thanks for the info sn2014. Does receiving PER and AOR depend on Visa office as well? I've selected my Visa office as Ottawa, but I guess New Delhi one is faster as I could see from the posts.

Per is sent by CIO Nova Scotia.

AOR by your visa office

I checked my E-CAS today.
There is one more line for my status(in process)

Permanent Residence
We received your application for permanent residence on February 14, 2014.

Medical results have been received.

CPP-Ottawa requested me and my family to get medical examination on 26th March, 2014 and we had had it on 31st March.
But there is still no mention for starting my application.

Congrats buddy for getting the medical request so soon. Maybe they'll update it soon. Your processing seems to be going on at a rapid pace!!!!

Did you apply under the arranged employment category? Also when and how did you receive your PER? by Email or by post? I just submitted my application last week and really nervous about my application!!

Has anyone heard of Ip visas, they promised to help me get a job offer in Canada for a fee. The fee is much, so I want to be sure of their credibility, before going ahead, pls can someone advice?

Inarms,

Great going!!

No idea!
Never had to go through an agency, personally. Came on a student visa, finished my program, got a job, and employer helped extend work permit by getting an LMO.
That's my story

Cool. That sounds quick. Thanks for the info Inarms. Congrats and all the best again. I guess it's just a formality for you now. I'll have to wait another month now to see if I go through...hoping for the best...fingers crossed :)

Just a one more quick question. What kind of work permit do you have? Is it employer sponsored LMO or Post grad open work permit?
I was looking into other posts and there are some cases where they are not considering Post grad work permit for this category. If anyone has more info on this, please help.

Regards,
Vaibhav

guys, if a family getsnaprv and the principal applicant lands before the other family members, can he get the permanent resident card for the other family member, and what is the timeline for getting the permanent resident card on landing

I have a closed work permit based LMO for the current work.
