I just received my rejection letter. I am not sure how CIC works, I can log into ECAS and I can see that my application status is, "in progress". However I received my rejection letter this morning and I was also informed that my processing fees will be refunded.

Good luck to everyone else!

As far i know FSW2 is time bounded. It is till 30 April, that's why most of us were little bit scared when our files were returned coz limited time is left.
LMO is going on side by side, why don't u start collecting other documents meanwhile, which you think can take time. Like PCC, credential report(if u have not studied in canada). Birth certificate (if it is not in English then you need a translation), IELTS result, work experience letter(s), most important read the instruction guide which is provided in application package. Coz my file was returned because of a very minor but major error acc to CIC. You are on crucial point, near to the deadline, so don't waste time. Utilize it acc to document checklist and plz go thru instruction guide.
That's all what I know. Rest others can guide u properly
They know more stuff. But don't just sit and wait. Start doing other things meanwhile you wait for LMO

Iam ready with eca and ielts and reference letters from past employers. I just need pcc and current employer reference letter. I can arrange reference letter but pcc will take time. Can you tell me what's the validity of pcc from RPO ? Also how much time does it take to get pcc? If i have stayed on wp in some country for more than 6 months, and if i get pcc from country now will it be valid for ever?

What?? Sorry to hear that. What reasons they have mentioned for rejection?

I agree with Rimi. You should get all your other documents ready and forms filled out. The day you get your lmo approved, send your file out the next day!

Have you tried calling cic and asking if arranged employment category also closes on 30th April?

Hope,

That's terrible news! What did they give as the reason?

Toronto Police gives PCC in 3weeks. It's valid for a year but cic needs a PCC issued in the last 4 or 6 months. Either way, you'll not have a validity problem because your application will have to be sent immediately.

I only got toronto PCC and not the India one. Will send it when they ask because I just wanted to get my application out ASAP and I believe the Indian one takes 4-6 weeks to arrive.

I've an urgent question - Regarding eligibility under Arranged employment they have mentioned on official website that minimum 1 year of experience required in Skilled class. Does that need to be only in Canada or outside Canada will do?
I've less than 1 yr of experience in Canada, but total 5 years in same skilled category. Please advice.

I obtained my PCC from India not from here. It took me 6-7 weeks to get PCC from India. I think they will ask for fingerprints from me by RCMP (coz some of my fellow have got request fr that).

i made following two mistakes
1. I don't use my last name, so I wrote my full name in given name section, but acc to CIC if u don't use last name then u must write your full name in family name section.
2. I didn't select my visa office. Though I am in Canada, but I chose New Delhi becoz of it's past results.

If your all other documents are ready, then relax. Wait for LMO and as soon u get it fill the other forms and go for it. I guess we don't have to mention about LMO in any form, so You can fill the forms meanwhile. Coz trust me you at least have to fill the same form for 3-4 times, because there will be so many errors in first attempt. Let some one validate that for you after that. Then as you get your LMO, take letter from your employer and send the file next day.
did u get photos done? Apply for PCC, may be you get it before 26 april. Here in Vancouver it takes only 2 weeks.

According to cic, you must "have at least one year of continuous full-time (or an equal amount in continuous part-time) paid work experience within the last ten years in the primary occupation you state in your application."

Your work experience must be:

at least one year (1560 hours), full-time or an equal amount in part-time,
paid work (volunteer work, unpaid internships, etc. do not count),
in the same occupation, and
within the last 10 years,
at skill type 0, or skill levels A or B of the 2011 edition of the Canadian National Occupational Classification (NOC)

Your experience just needs to be in the NOC category. No matter which country you got it. That's the point of FSW, to get skilled workers from outside Canada. For Canadian experience, they have the CEC.

In my case, it took almost 2 months to get my PCC from South Africa and South Korea. Then I sent all documents with application to reduce processing time.

I have experienced that my PCC from South Africa was gone in 2012. I could not track it with number.

Thank you rimi for your inputs.i have 1 more question, if i dont submit pcc with my app, wil NDVO reqyest for medical and PCC simultaneously or first they will request PCC and once i submit PCC then theh will request MEdical reports . i tried to apply for PCC online but i dont see india listed in list of countries. Actually we need to take appointment online and den submit docs for pcc but in the online form there is no listing of india itself. Iam not sure if iam missing something..
