Thank you rimi for your inputs.i have 1 more question, if i dont submit pcc with my app, wil NDVO reqyest for medical and PCC simultaneously or first they will request PCC and once i submit PCC then theh will request MEdical reports . i tried to apply for PCC online but i dont see india listed in list of countries. Actually we need to take appointment online and den submit docs for pcc but in the online form there is no listing of india itself. Iam not sure if iam missing something..
I hope PCC along with Medical+visa fees all will come in same mail send by NDVO.

Hi friends, I need some expert advise now.

I am working in a sales and resposible for water treatment plants and chemicals to sell.
I have very good exp of around 8 years and looking for a work in canada. How can I get arrange employment to file my case to immigration dept as I feel that is the only option for me to work.

Is there any other way ? Then also please guide me.

Thanks for the expert advice. I've sent my PR application already. But I've few more doubts and I hope you can help me out with some more information. I'm giving my details below for my situation along with the questions.

- I've done my Engineering from India and MBA from Canada - a 1 yr full time - (Queen's Univ, Ontario). I've submitted copy of my MBA Masters degree from Queen's. will that be enough? Do I need to send the verified copies of my Engineering degree (Indian degree) as well?
- what is the average time to receive AOR no and can we file Bridge open work permit after we receive AOR no? My post grad open work permit is valid till July 9 2014 and I want to apply for my bridge open work permit before it expires, so have time of 3 months now. (My employer don't want to apply for LMO even my job category is Skilled A group.)
- I haven't done my police clearance / certificate. I'm here in Canada for almost 2 years now (22 Months) - Should I get it done from Canada, Indian embassy in Canada or get it from India? And by when do I have to submit it? and when do they ask for it? before giving AOR or after AOR?

Please help me out with the above questions and I'll be really grateful!!

Thanks in advance.

Regards,
Vaibhav

According to cic, you must "have at least one year of continuous full-time (or an equal amount in continuous part-time) paid work experience within the last ten years in the primary occupation you state in your application."

Your work experience must be:

at least one year (1560 hours), full-time or an equal amount in part-time,
paid work (volunteer work, unpaid internships, etc. do not count),
in the same occupation, and
within the last 10 years,
at skill type 0, or skill levels A or B of the 2011 edition of the Canadian National Occupational Classification (NOC)

Your experience just needs to be in the NOC category. No matter which country you got it. That's the point of FSW, to get skilled workers from outside Canada. For Canadian experience, they have the CEC.

If they require additional documents, you will get a request.

AOR right now is being issued within 6-10 weeks by NDVO. Applicants from mid-feb have started getting their AORs from NDVO. Check the spreadsheet in my signature if you chose a different visa office.

Yes, you can apply for bridging open work permit after AOR. But an reeler discussion on this thread seems to suggest that even PER - the email with your file number might be enough. However, that's really up to you to decide if you want to try it. The general rule of thumb has been AOR and then bridging work permit.

Thanks again for the Info.

I've applied to CIO Ottawa as I'm currently in Canada and working in Calgary. Any idea how long it takes for Ottawa?

Thanks,
Vaibhav

i made following two mistakes
1. I don't use my last name, so I wrote my full name in given name section, but acc to CIC if u don't use last name then u must write your full name in family name section.
2. I didn't select my visa office. Though I am in Canada, but I chose New Delhi becoz of it's past results.
before have you got per email

No I was waiting for my credit card to get charged because already 4 weeks were passed, so eventually in 5th week I got my file back with reasons highlighted. So i filled my generic form again after talking to CIC regarding my name, fixed and sent it next day

I am giving u answer by referring to my other friends, who received request for PCC along with medical only. If you have not sent PCC, then they will ask about it later. These days they are asking for finger prints and police check by RCMP, So Its not a big deal, this is something you can do later on, but make sure u send your other documents (which are must) as per requirement.

In order to file under arranged employment category, if you are not in Canada at present.
1. you must obtain a permanent job offer from a Canadian employer. This job must be full-time and permanent and it should fall under NOC O, A or B occupation only.
2. This permanent job should be given only on basis of positive LMO from HRSDC.
3. On the basis of this LMO a work permit will be issued, which will make you ready to work in Canada.
Apart from all this you must have following three things:
1. IELTS Canadian bench mark 7 in all modules
2. you have have completed either Canadian credentials or ECA report ready with your application.
3. You must have at least 1 year work experience in last 10 years in the primary job that you state in you application.

Rest other members can add more into this. Best of luck

I took a medical exam today with my wife and children.

They took $400 for the family. But if you have a medical exam personally, you have to pay $160. They just gave some discount.
and there were another fee $40 for each person's x-ray (except youngest son - 9 years old) and $15.52 for the blood test(me and my wife)

The amount was $535.53 for my family.

and I paid $980 for RPRF(me and my wife).

It is new month, April.

I wish all of us would have a huge luck ;D ;D ;D

You can try to search for lawyers or immigration consultants who can help you.
