Hello everyone,

I applied for FSW2 on February 24 and hoping to receive an AOR soon. I'm glad we have this forum to support each other through this process.

In the meantime, could you guys tell me how you update your case dates below your usernames? For example: AOR date, MR date, PP Request date? I've noticed some members, but not all, have this visible under their username.

Let me know how you did it.

Thank you!

Hi,

It is very easy. Just click profile upper menu and then click forum profile information. In there, you can update whatever you want.

I am also 14 Feb 2014 applicant having file number. You are getting your very soon.

Good luck to everyone here

A couple of OCT-end applicants already got their Visa in March! Less than 5 months later!

It'd be cool if that happens to us!

Jan 22nd applicant got theirs, jan 24th is hopefully not too far behind *fingers crossed*

And then you Feb peeps will have your turn too!

I have got the email including UCI and file number... etc. Is not it AOR?

and what is PER?

can anybody tell me what is AOR and PER? I mean what do you mean by AOR, does it mean a number is generated to track your application ?
what about PER ? does it mean you are positively considered for immigration ??

PER=Positive Eligibility Review
This is the email the CIO at Sydney, Nova Scotia sends you. It contains your file number.

They then forward your file to your chosen Visa Office.
This Visa Office then sends you an AOR= Acknowledgement of Receipt to say that your file has been forwarded to them.

There's, in most cases, a second AOR from the Visa Office when they start processing your file. This is when they'll ask you for any PCC or other documents they might need.

Hope that helps.

What are you guys' status on CIC?

for me, it is in process and stated like below

Permanent Residence
1. We received your application for permanent residence on February 14, 2014.

what is next step?

Hello Everyone,

I recently applied under FSW-AEO category. I applied using my friend's credit card and it was recently charged. Can you please confirm if this means ministerial instructions have been met and that my application has been placed into processing? Can you also please advise if I will be receiving AOR/PER from CIC?

Thanks

Hello Hope,

You will soon receive your PER with your file number.

Then your file will be transferred to the visa office you chose. This Visa Office will issue your AOR.

Cc getting charged does not mean ministerial instructions are met. If you are looking to apply for a bridging open work permit, you can only do so after your AOR is received.
