If your app was received on March 3, you still have a while before they work on it. It took mine 4 weeks from app received date to cc charge. They are still working on Feb apps. Good luck with yours. Keep us posted

Hmmm looks like 14 th feb people have got their cc charged so yours should definitely have happened.

My previous application was sent on 19th nov 2013 and I got it back mid- January 2014.

In case of me, I had a plan to apply on CEC with my job as cook. But as you know, 6 NOC codes were limited to apply the program which is not any more eligible form 9th Nov.

so I had to turn my plan into FSW with Arranged Employment. I have been working in Canada since Jun 2012.

Could I ask what job you have?

I had sent my application to Sydeney on 14th Feb and still have waiting any new from there.

same happened with me, my file was all ready to send, but it was long weekend so i thought i will send it on tuesday. But saturday morning i saw this bad news on internet...sigh !! don't want to think about that
I am working as retail sales supervisor, have LMO and work permit was issued on the basis of this LMO. I didn't know about federal so thats why it took time to gather all documents. I sent my file on jan30, received on feb3....no news after that...still waiting.

I had the same experience. Sent application under Cec in July but got returned due to some form filling error September-end. Then had to redo police verification and forms with updated information. I was ready to send it on Monday and cooks category got removed on Saturday!

Rimi-I hope it works out, but I'm afraid they can be quite strict with the form filling. So your Visa Office error might be the issue. my error first time around was I put number of applicants as 1 (i have a common law partner who was NOT applying with me because she didn't meet the requirements of experience). So I only mentioned her wherever they asked relationship status and filled out forms that said patner/spouse's family info, travel info etc. I expected them to understand that because I didn't list her as a dependant or include her in the number of applicants, it was just me applying. But that didn't happen.
Be hopeful but also be prepared for the worst.

Inarms: 14th feb applicant got their cc charged on 3rd March. But they haven't moved to 15th yet. So this might be your week. And Rimi, yours too!

Hi friends
I had a telephonic interview on 4th February 2014. It lasted for about half an hour. They even spoke to my boss . Most of the answers given by both of us were almost same. After this my ecas status is showing an additional line- we started processing your application on 27th jan 2014.
Now its almost a month since then but neither I got mr nor the any status update.
Why are they taking so long to send the mr
Any guess?

New Delhi has always been one of the fastest in the world. Looks like in recent times Ottawa has been catching up too. Go through the spreadsheets and take a call.

Remember that you will need to send your passport there. So decide if you feel comfortable sending your passport out of the country. It shouldn't be an issue so many people do. But it's just something to think about for you personally.

At this stage, all you can do is be patient. Give it some more time. 1 month in the case of pr applications is not much. If it does take inordinately long, you have the option of calling for your gcms notes.

Thanks for the reply. Otherwise how can we apply for gcms notes. Can we apply directly or through the consultant which pursuing our case.
