I am planning to apply for FSW 2014. I have couple of questions.
1. I am working as a civil engineer for 2+ years. While I was studying I was working as a teaching assistant and a research assistant both jobs were in civil engineering department and both jobs were paid. I would like to ask you if I can use those experiences as well so I can get more points?
2. I studied in the USA from 2004 to 2012. Now I am working in Nepal. How do I get the police report from USA? Also, can I submit the police report after I submit my application? My wife did he bachelor from India and how do I get a police report from India?
My details:

IELTS: L:8.5, W:6.5, R:7.0, S:7.5 overall: 7.5
ECA done masters
Wife's sister in Canada PR
Work Experience: 2+ years without TA and RA and internships
Age: <30

I calculated 72 points.. Am I correct?

Do I need to have a job offer before I can apply for FSW 2014?

can i submit my application now?

Hello guys,

I have a doubt regaridng FSW2014. We have two recent news regaring Express entry and FSW2014.

My concern is whether both of them are separate program or same? If same, what is the max cap for FSW2014 in each category?

Also please guide me about the fund required. We are a couple planning to apply for FSW. what are the criteria for fund required?

Regards.

they are two different programs. Currently, there is no data regarding Express Entry. However, FSWP 2014. has 50 occupations and each one has 1000 CAP. And total stream has 25,000 CAP
Fund depends on number of family; check this link www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/funds.asp

I really need help

I'm very confused

I submit as QSW in 2011 and nothing except the AOR till now :-[

Then a week ago I submit in NSNP

and now what to do,, I'm qualified for the new FSW

what can I do, I'm afraid to submit for FSW and then got nominated by NS, and also afraid not to apply to lose the chance :-X :-X :-X

Do anyone know how long it will still opened to apply under FSW when starts 1 May??

There is no announcement if CIC will stay use FSWP score system or they will change it., but if they don't change it, your points will be as follow:
1. English 20 points
2. Education 21 points
3. Age 12 points
4. Experience 11 points
5. Adaptability 5 points for relative, and you may earn another 5 if your spouse get IELTS (L4.5, R3.5, W4, S4)
Total score 69 without spouse IELTS
you are eligible without it

I think CAP is not narrow, so waiting is better than risky quick

If I were you, I will do it.
NB: You need to send original IELTS certificate in both applications

As you already applied for NSNP, it is your own decision to apply for FSWP or not
NB: FSWP takes around 70-80 days to reply by PER, so you will know your result max after 3 months from apply. On the other hand NSNP gives you 6 months after nomination to apply for CIC. You can manage time wisely
