Federal skilled worker 2014

I applied for federal skilled worker 2014. Cic received my application on 7th may 2014. According to CAS they started processing my application on 12th september 2014. Plz tell me shat does it mean???

Its a positive sign , please check ur ecas status as most of the may applicants already got mr request from the respective VO

my family is living with me in saudi Arabia on Iqamas. It states RESIDENT PERMIT.
What shall I select their status in IMM0008.
As visister
as foreign national
or select others and type RESIDENT PERMIT.
Do I need to attach iqama copies translation.
