Hi Carlaganda23,
You may be correct. People are in this forum don't understand 'the Canadian immigration system'.

Cap is always there in regardless of federal or province category. However, NSNP is not going to declare anything yet because they don't want to select application based on first come first serve basis or initial 150 or any numbers. Due to that reason they are accepting file. unlikely SINP...

Hi,

Read that link: I am not speculating, I live in Nova Scotia and I just called the Office. My friend asked me about it so I asked about it:
And yes it's for 150 people for this stream aside from Family Business Program Stream and Skilled-Work Stream:
So, Goodluck guys!!! It's a lottery draw but I think they have to choose those applicants who really have strong ties to the Province and wanted to settle down here permanently!

Nothing has been confirmed officially so better to apply unless any official news.
But I am assume that this program is not first come first serve basis otherwise till now people are getting AOR if they have small amount files.

You can definitely send your application now before further notice that the stream is closed. You have to show them that you are the right candidate for the nomination (e.g strong ties to the province, qualification, experience, wanted to settled permanently)

If u have friends or relatives in NS who can support your application. That will be very good!

Stay positive guys and hope for the best!

Correct Carlaganda23.

People need to show strong connection with Nova Scotia as Community Identified Stream is closed & merged with Regional Labour Market Demand Stream.

about nova scotia immigration they will not check your bank statment by contact bank to check your account if it go less than limit amount
My dear, i have worked so many years as a banker and am going to tell you what i know in banking.

No bank, i mean no bank will ever release your account balance to a third party, not even to the embassy. the least bank will do is to confirm to the embassy that you are their customer who has been banking from so so period to so so time. CIC OR NSNP will only ask you to produce your account statement again if they are not satisfied with the one you submitted during your application.

You are correct but in Canada. They don't check with bank statement but they generally go through SIN ( Social Insurance Number) so they will figure out credit history as well as income tax details.

Not sure about when people are submitting their application through diff countries.

You have still not answered my question on the funds to be available continuously. You say we can withdraw in the middle. But what if CIC asks and if we dont have money then what do we do

Applying under 2174 or underany other NOC is not an issue. He has to get a reference letter when he goes to CIC which matches the roles and responsibilities of 2174. Hope i am clear in this.
