Finally Program Closed

Notice: The Regional Labour Market Demand stream is now closed and will not be accepting any applications that are not received in the office and/or post-marked by end-of-day April 28, 2014.

The Nova Scotia Office of Immigration is processing applications to reach the 150 nominations. Applications are being dealt with on a first-come, first-served basis.

Once the 150 nominees are identified, any applications that are not processed will be returned to applicants.

The stream will open again on January 1st, 2015. Anyone whose application was returned is encouraged to re-apply at that time.

The Nova Scotia Nominee Program (NSNP) is the first step in a two-step application process for a permanent resident visa to Canada. It allows the Government of Nova Scotia to recruit and select immigrants who intend to settle in the province, and have the skills, education, and work experience needed to make an immediate contribution to labour market and economic needs.

The program is closed and my package is on the way. I am about to cry. What can you advice me? I called fedex office and they told me that it will be there on 29.04.2014 in the morning what do you think should I write them an e-mail or that will not help??

The province closed its immigration nominee program Monday after getting 3,000 applications for the 150 spots it offered.

just let it be....no need to send email....they have already announced the official deadline....if they will consider your application or not, you will soon know when they send you a notice....

Good and Bad news....
Good News. .....Program closed.
Bad News......Earlier they said application which will not comes under 150 nominee this year will carry forward for next year, but now they saying they will return application after 150 cap and need to re-apply next year.

Wooow breaking news!!! All of sudden shocking. with this we see over all 3000 applications reached. and 150 are the lucky guys. best of luck all of you

just let it go...and prepare yourself that it is definit that your application might be returned , dont keep hopes as it kills. prepare for FSWP. good luck
