Thank's God, everything is going on wheels, my CIC online status now says under Permanent Residence: "We started processing <my full name> application on September 4, 2013."
Can anybody please update the spreadsheet, AIP and DM were made on september 4th 2013. thank you.

I didn't, however it says on my AIP I'm eligible to Apply for OWP.

Thanks for your info. So, whether we pay RPRF in advance or not, we are asked to send some documents before a landing interview. Quebec is special!

yeah it´s really special. also we already send lots of photos with the application, but they wanted again 2 photos.

I sent NO pics (well, no passport/PR pics - just the proof pics showing us together) with my app. One of the many mistakes I made. I sent some - I think 4? - with my medical, but I did passport size, not PR card size. Then they requested the two PR card pics.

And yes, Québec is *special*. I listen to French talk radio most of the time while I'm driving. Helps to "tune my ear" a bit as I work on learning French. I understand enough French to get an idea of what they're talking about, but I miss most of the details. For over a week now, every time I listen to the radio, the ONLY topic of conversation is La Charte des valeurs québécoises (The Québec Charter of Values). So many lovely people here, and yet so much political BS.

I have updated the spreadsheet. So now just 6 apps for 2012 to go.

Interestingly in 9 days it will be 7 months since they started processing my step 2. But it is 8 Months when technically I can get them to check up on it.

Only 4 more AIP's!

It isn't the waiting which is really bothering me, it is the medical, I know they will ask for a new one when they eventually check my file.

They need to make this all process digital...

I have to agree with you. Most of political in QC are BS, Like they always try to convince you to agree with their stupid policy all the time.

Haven't seen any here in the Québec thread, but in the 2012 inland applicants thread, we've seen a good bit of progress lately.

Nothing for us yet ... I was so happy 10 months was coming up in a few days and I could then pester them for an update, and now the time has increased to 11 months! I have never been in a process before in my life where the goal posts are allowed to continually change AFTER a submission. Really, really frustrating.

And so we continue our wait!

I have to agree with you. Most of political in QC are BS, Like they always try to convince you to agree with their stupid policy all the time.

It's just so DIVISIVE! Most of the individual people I meet (and we're in what my husband has sometimes referred to as "the heart of separatist Québec") are very nice. I am trying to learn French, and when I go into a business, people are generally patient as we try to communicate, helpful, and encouraging ("Votre français est très bien!" Not necessarily true, but très gentil, haha). But you wouldn't expect nice people (if you are an anglophone, or muslim, or anything "different") if you just listened to/read coverage of Quèbec's political issues. I just feel the government often does a disservice to the general population by focusing on negative and divisive issues.

Got an email for the CIC today, and I thought nobody was working.

"We are pleased to advise you that processing of your application has been completed. The Canada Immigration Centre in Montreal will contact you concerning your permanent resident status"

Nice surprise for Friday.

No I can continue my "fun" interaction with the MICC.
