Sorry for the delayed reply! It was sent via snail-mail. We got the photos and had the letter delivered back to them on Friday. Hope you hear something on Tuesday!

Well we got our letter asking us to verify our information and then send in photos. Has anyone else? I'm wondering if a big day of landings in Montreal is coming up in the next few weeks :)

Thank you! We weren't ask to redo the medicals and I'm a bit surprised as they were done in August of 2012, and so were two months expired! Maybe because we've already lived here for 3.5 years and he had Quebec health care until his worker status ran out. I'm wondering now what will happen...

I got my approval as a sponsor email today and my guy got his letter too! "It has been determined that you meet the eligibility requirements to apply for permanent resident status as a member of the spouse or common-law partner in Canada class." Best thing I've read in ages! So exciting...

Nothing for us yet ... I was so happy 10 months was coming up in a few days and I could then pester them for an update, and now the time has increased to 11 months! I have never been in a process before in my life where the goal posts are allowed to continually change AFTER a submission. Really...

Hi QuebecOkie, not sure if this helps, but I'm a month behind you in the app process and called CIC today for an update - the guy said that I should hear something "soon" given it's been over 8 months. Soon(tm). At least a "soon" is something, right? Sigh...
