Your right, I probably should go to sleep.

Btw can someone post the updated chart. It is now quite a few pages back and there has been quite a few updates. People getting CSQ's etc.
Good idea! By the way, I added a +1 to your rating, because you contribute a lot to this forum already, and I appreciate it. :)

Oh ok cool, thanks. My first rating.
I'm glad you like my contribution, I just hope it isn't to much.

I guess if we find things out which will help others then we might as well share it.

You know the forum has helped me a lot.

While I was waiting soon after I sent my application. I phoned the CIC a few times and they sent me letters by email explaining different topics. I might check to see what topics they were on as I can't remember. It was a while ago.

I will answer your question but this is a forum for Quebec Inland Sponsorships.

Yes you are on the last step. It should take about one month.

They will stamp the visa in the passport.

You should contact them:

thank you for the response..! GOD BLESS US""

That's good then :)
If I can think of anything else I'll post it.

I think I am a bit obessive though about having to know everything about a subject.
I'll research and research and ask questions. That is what I do when I phone the cic.

I even went back and read every page of this Quebec Inland forum :)
I don't think you can leave anything to chance, you need to be prepared lol.

Have you applied for the CSQ?
Yep, I hand delivered my CSQ App package to MICC office on Jan. 24th, so I hope in about two weeks time I can call them to followup and get good news as u and chickadee. I pretty much use you two's timeline for my own reference so far. ;D

Your right it shouldn't be to long. Did you pay by credit card? The money will have come out by now.

Interview? I hope you mean the landing interview, if that what they are called.

Any other interviews aren't really a good thing :)
Yup! That's exactly what I meant. :D 8) :p

And I agree that any other interviews would not be a good thing.
I did a search on previous posts and found this:
If an interview is called for during first stage it is usually because they have a doubt about relationship being genuine or to have more proof.
So they transfer the file to the local office for further assessment until it is approved and the sent back to Vegreville to continue with the process.
It can happen people gets interview after AIP but in that case it has to be about the applicant itself and would deal with security, background etc but that is much less common.
If everything is smooth in a case the only interview one gets is at the landing and it is not really an interview per see but just 2 or 3 questions and paper filling
.

Yeah they have started processing. I paid by money order, so I never had the luxury of knowing when they started to process my application.

I sent it needing a signature, so I knew they had received it.

That makes sense but for me I don't think I'd have to go through that.

Below is each thing which the cic check for the sponsor, before they send out the AIP. So as long as your sponsor pass them all, no interview required.

1. Not under removal order.

2. Not detained in penitentiary, jail or reformatory.

3. Not convicted of an offence of a sexual nature against any person or of an offence that results in bodily harm against a family member.

4. Not in default of previous sponsorship, support payments or immigration debt.

5. Not an undischarged bankrupt.

6. Not on social assistance (aside from disability).

Then it is just the requirements for the final decision.

Well if your sponsor passes them all, then yes your on the right track...

Btw this information I'm giving is correct, official etc. I took it from the official Manual for Spouse or Common-law partner in Canada, it is issued by the CIC. (69 Pages)

It actually tells you step by step and it shows you the process as a chart. It also includes sponsorship in Quebec. It is what the CIC officers will use.

For the final decision, the requirements sponsored person need to pass are:

1. Spouse or common-law partner of a sponsor.

2. Cohabitating with sponsor in Canada.

3. Temporary resident status - May be waived using public policy, However, status still needed to work or study in Canada. (Your status just needs to be current, visitor, student permit or work permit. Or applied for with the sponsorship application).

4. Sponsorship submitted (and approved)

5. Is FN excluded from the class due to R125 provisions– excluded relationships?

Number 5 is to do with family members and not listing them when you sent the application. Most people can ignore that one.
