My father passed away in May 2014. So i had reported either in May or June 2014. It was before CIC asked additional docs. CIC asked additional docs in July/August 2014.
I have consulted couple of people here and found one of the major reason for pending review is if you have income as self employed. Why i said, one, because , i had contacted couple of consultants. One of the consultants said "they have lots of clients with self employment but never got secondary review.
So i think one reason is self employed AND income proof is not properly presented so that CIC agent/Officer can calculate it easily. We just submitted option C. So i think it needs extra efforts to calculate income per month and per year. e.g. from July 2010 to July 2011.
I have created excel sheet only for cases in pending reviews to track. There are only few but You can estimate your turn from that. I had tracked mine and got almost correct estimate.
you can provide you time line (If you want) to add to excel sheet so others can get help as well.
