our lvo is New Delhi

That means is their agency, mine is from Venezuela and I'm having the exact same problem.
Completely different countries yet same issues sight... :-X

We are in same boat...parents have travelled to Canada couple of times and other countries also.

But It is frustrating to see they have gotten their medical done twice still waiting...not sure what they are waiting for. MP office says security check.....just dont know how long will they take and hopefully before it is too late.

MP Office could not help it all. It is waste of time. Staff at MP office don't even understand what we are looking for from CIC. Manager of staff is even have no idea what He is talking about. While discussion with Manager at MP office, he tell me two things

1. When you had sponsored you parents you don't have house. So as You have bought a house now CIC need to re-calculate your income.
2. CIC is calculating the burden for next 20 years, you mom would have on the health system.

And MP herself said

3. People here are waiting since 10 years, why you are worried for 7th year..

If anyone still believe in MP office, then wasting more time for the application.

Only the following options I can think of

1. Find couple of users in similar situation even by starting a totally new thread, e.g "PGP 2nd stage , delay at LVO office .... etc.. etc.. " . Get information from other people and track the progress in excel sheet, and then everyone is waiting would have idea about the turn, That is how i did get estimate about my SA..

2. Spend money, consult lawyers and good consultants ,who can give correct advise about the Procedure and process of CIC for 2nd stage..

I know guys it is sad. Don't think our petition did any affect.

Did you guys tried mycic. IT shows little extra information. My file is showing background check in progress. Any one in same boat.

Yes, background check is in progress since May 2016. Even though GCMS notes says the PCC and CSIS inquiry clean Since 8th Aug, 2016.

I had quoted the concern of the user who is relying on MP Office and concern about How much time it would take. That is what i have explained my experience about MP office and time line

Ok , I am agree in THIS case , it may be a agency employed by CIC.

First of all my understanding is CIC is NOT answer able to tell you the time. If i am wrong please correct. At least cases for pending review and application waiting for Visa. I have gone through this. If you tried Minister office or MP Office please share.

How come CIC is not telling you/me (or any other client) the estimate time about application. ?, even it is agency 's fault. Please share the information about CIC hire an agency .e.g. share web link, GCMS notes etc..

Suppose, this is the agency, then who is responsible for that? why CIC don't have another option. In the mean time, CIC should tell the people about estimate time.. I don't know why some people here still support CIC and MPs.? . Sorry, I can understand why they support MPs but CIC

What ever the case is, anyone who applied, paying taxes, paid processing fee, living on Canadian soil (or Canadian Citizen), should have the right to know about at least estimated time for their applications. It can not be 10 years or 20 years. No one deserve that.

Also what is ETA and does my parents need ETA once they will come here???

Guys,

I am super excited right now. We've received request of medical and police certificate today.

Also, my parents have 2 dependent children which makes them 4 applicants altogether.

How much right for permanent residence fees am I suppose to pay? $490 or $490+$490??
