Hi all,

A good news after 6 and 1/2 years of submitting an application. My sponsorship application is Passed half way. I got letter today for sponsorship approval.ECAS still show in Process


Thank you very much for all the support from every one esp from quresa1, ravi@yahoo, kcdasoju and Kml boparai .

Sorry if i had skipped any one's name.

I am still interested to go far a law suite or any other kind of protest to join if anyone is interested here. I can not forget the pain i have gone through and still going through. We don't deserve this..

6. Issue of PR

I just checked the status on CIC and it says decision made on my mother's application

I also got an email 2 days ago requesting a copy of her new passport since her old one was expiring in January. I emailed the copy of new passport today so hopefully next step is PPR.

Thank you very much. I just get a Sponsorship approval email. No PCC or Medical or passport request. No idea , how it will go.. My mother is already here with me on Super Visa. File is in New Delhi India. I would be asking lots of questions here

Do your parents have a travel history? I have observe that those who have not traveled get their background check quickly. Our background check is in progress for over six months with many trips to UK and Canada in a past and taking for ever. LOV says they can not tell when this will be completed.

My status changed to received sometime in July and I've not gotten anything ever since then.

Can anyone share how long it took to change from medicals received to PPR? I'm hanging right now as my work permit is about to expire.

Is this within timelines? I've read that people get their PPR 1 month after medicals.

Do your parents have a travel history? I have observe that those who have not traveled get their background check quickly. Our background check is in progress for over six months with many trips to UK and Canada in a past and taking for ever. LOV says they can not tell when this will be completed.

My mother has a travel history and have been to Canada number of times.

We are in same boat...parents have travelled to Canada couple of times and other countries also.

But It is frustrating to see they have gotten their medical done twice still waiting...not sure what they are waiting for. MP office says security check.....just dont know how long will they take and hopefully before it is too late.
