@Alexandra12 - your inbox is full, so you can't receive personal messages.

Oops! Thank you. I didn't know that. Will do.

The consulate first responded that the test is supposedly different. We confirmed with the medical center that there is only one type of test that is ever requested by the consulate. So after some back-and-forth the consulate admitted their error and accepted the original test results

That is great! And good for you for contacting them and standing your grounds.
I e-mailed our CPC-Ottawa with the question about sponsorship medical exam vs. supervisa medical. After a week they replied: "Your medical exam results have been received by our office and your application is going through the required assessment process." So, it looks like they accepted it. Waiting for the next step.

I'm in the 2014 batch (although I have been waiting since April 2011 to apply!) But my mum's application is almost the same as yours, and my name is also Alexandra haha I asked ottawa back in February when mums application was transferred there if her supervisa medical could be used as it was still valid and all they could do is confirm the application was with then and they'd be in touch if they required further info.... so your email from them is encouraging! I havnt received anything at all from them since... I'll be really interested in seeing when you get the police check request. Good luck!

Hi all,

So finally file has been transferred to CPC-OTTAWA. Any idea what s the time line there like ??? after file transfer ???
I know some of us were saying it takes a little longer in OTTAWA than other visa offices ??? is it still the case?

Thank you all.

I sent the scan of PCC (in PDF) via email as they requested, Read the email CPC sent you carefully, the instruction on how to send is there.

I personally have seen hardly any movement in Ottawa... I noticed a few 2011 cases being processed, which is great, I'm 2014 and was transferred there in Feb 2016, haven't heard a word... maybe they're finally being a little fairer tho and pushing through the 2011 cases once they get to Ottawa...
