Here is situation, I sponsored my parents and their depend children when I was single. Later on I got married. I didn't include my wife when I filled the sponsorship application, because she was not my wife. When I am updating the family change, I am assuming CIC should consider my wife income. Please correct me if I am wrong.

To consider your wife's income in financial summary, she needs to be a co signer as well....if i am not wrong??

Hi guys,

I received my parents passport with Visa last week. Yesterday I called the call centre to book an appointment to complete the landing formalities at CIC office in Calgary. Call centre told me that the processing time in Calgary is 3 weeks. It was not an urgent request. After just 2 hours, I received an email from Calgary office and they gave me an appointment with in a week. That was quick. I think it is better than driving to the border for completing the COPR

I'm in the 2014 batch (although I have been waiting since April 2011 to apply!) I'll be really interested in seeing when you get the police check request. Good luck!

We submitted the police paper back in October 2015, so hopefully next step for us is a passport request.

What is the time limit for entering Canada for those who received Visa? Do they have to enter Canada until the expiry day of their medical exam? I think it is valid for 1 year.

we just did the medical and PCC for my parents... and ready to send. Medical will be sent my doctor but PCC we have to send.

so do we have to send the original PCC or the scanned copy via email is fine. How the oth et members are sending? Please let me know.

no changes to Ecas. just recieved regular mail today
A friend of mine applied 3 months before me and he is still waiting.
It all depends on the officer who is working the file.
I am confident our batch should be moving soon.

Make sure you keep a copy of the PCC and proof of posting

I sent the scan of PCC (in PDF) via email as they requested, Read the email CPC sent you carefully, the instruction on how to send is there.

We already sent the scanned copy of PCC. Technically it should be fine but would like to know if we have to send the original also.

Please see below the email we received:

Sometimes when I called CIC agents mentioned 11 months after AOR. I went to MP and maybe this helped. Maybe, you should try the same. Good luck!
