Hi All,
My mom also just got medical request!
One question: we just did a medical test for the supervisa not more than a month ago. It seems that the test is identical. Is there a way to not redo it the second time and just reuse the results from the first one? Her case is being processed in Moscow.
And another question: how does one transfer the case to Canada if she will remain here on the supervisa?

The consulate first responded that the test is supposedly different. We confirmed with the medical center that there is only one type of test that is ever requested by the consulate. So after some back-and-forth the consulate admitted their error and accepted the original test results (we gave the the file number of the other application). They replied to questions rather fast - in less than 2 days.

The request for passport came squarely one month after medicals were submitted.

The request had instructions for both - submitting the passport in your own country and if you are already in Canada.

Hey Guys,

I applied for my parents sponsorship in 2015 and would really appreciate some help from you guys as you have already gone through this process. I recently got an email saying that I have been approved as a sponsor and my parents file has been sent to New Delhi Visa Office. They have now asked us for additional forms (see list in next line) which had already been submitted during the Approval for sponsorship stage. Do I need to refill the Schedule A, IMM 008 and Additional Family Information form (IMM5406) or do we just need to resubmit the same forms that were submitted originally to CIC on Jan 2015? I am concerned because there is a bar code that goes at the bottom 008 and I don't know if that needs to get updated or stay the same. Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

Please help as my brother who is 35 yr old refuse to do his medical as CIC sent medical for my parents and sent my brother's medical also don't know why. Last year CIC asked us my brother's information and put him Non accompany dependent.
Please help me what kind of notarized letter i can send to CIC so that my parents can be approved for their visas as Brother don't co-operate and refuse to do the medical. Pls help :-[

Write a letter to CIC and explain that your brother is 35 years old and not a accompany dependent and even not ready to do Medical. Neither you are sponsoring him, so please remove his name from the application. Get your parents medical and send this explanation letter. There have done some mistake or something wrongly filled in your application form. Explanation letter should rectify this.

Hi All,

we just did the medical and PCC for my parents... and ready to send. Medical will be sent my doctor but PCC we have to send.

so do we have to send the original PCC or the scanned copy via email is fine. How the oth et members are sending? Please let me know.
