2011 (May-November) Parents sponsorship applicants join here

I am going to write to my MP, and the Immigration Minister's office that it's unfair how CIC is approving sponsorship applications of people who applied in January, 2014 and will demand an explanation how they justify this practice. I urge everyone to do the same and put pressure on CIC. If they keep transferring 2014 applications to LVO's, they will be ahead of us when ours get transferred to LVO's, and we will get extra years of delay due to this injustice. Immigration minister had made it clear that all applications received up to November, 2011 will be processed before 2014 applications. What is going on here??

Just call in CIC... No answer why we are still waiting but 2014 applicants start receiving approvals...

You need to wait untill July...

They told me to wait 11 months after submitting the updated docs. They wouldn't even bother looking into my file. And they have no explanation why 2014 cases have started receiving approvals ahead of us.

We are OK that 2014 applicants start receiving approval but what about us???

I find so many people in this page ( user: TEI, his579 etc) itself happly telling how their online file state moves from “app recevied” to start processing.
As for approval letter. It could be for old cases they send my mail instead of email. That takes its own time.

No one from May, 2011 to November, 2011 batch has received sponsorship approval yet. So it's not about second review, it is about completely bypassing this batch of applications and starting to approve applications from Jan, 2014. I would be glad to see all applications (including 2009 ones) to be processed in the order they were received for the sake of fairness. But I am complaining to my MP about my own case. You are welcome to complain to your MP about your own case if you were treated unfairly and I wouldn't have any problem at all for applications submitted before mine to be processed ahead of mine.

I have nothing to complain. Seems cic working on first cum first basis. If you are complaining based on your individual file status . Then best of luck from myside.

Hi everyone, just wandering, at the first time I submitted all the required documents, except the police certificates, due to need several months to process them for my parents, we may or may not submit at the same time, one month later, I received a letter confirmed that( AOR), my application is now in the processing queue, on the letter mentions do not send any additional information separate from already submitted application, unless otherwise requested. Any unsolicited information will be returned to u unprocessed.
Anyone experienced the same situation? Should I submit the police certificates before files transfer to 2nd visa office or wait for the requested? Thx

Called CIC twice in Jan 2016 asking for AOR, but still have not received it yet.

I am also new to this forum and so tired of waiting...I am sponsoring my mother, no dependents.

Asking for Additional Doc: Jul 2015
Submitted Complete Package: Oct 2015
AOR received: Dec 2015

My mother is currently applying for a supervisa. She had to do medical exam for it (Feb 2016). I am hoping that the approval of sponsorship and the request for medical exam will be mailed to us soon, then she would not have to do her exam again, but use the one she did for supervisa.

I paid all the fees and submitted police clearance paper, I don't understand why it takes such a long time...
