The same for me! I received AOR in December. Now, my ecas changed:
'We started processing your application on January 19, 2016'

We should keep eye on next request from them. I think it will be email.

On a separate note, re: police certificates - did you guys sent them as soon as they were ready or wait for CIC to ask for them?

I noticed that the documents' request email from CPC Mississauga (July '15) had the following line:
"Once obtained, the police certificates can either be sent with the complete application or when the visa office requests them."

I sent the documents back in September and since received AOR saying that the application is complete.
Any value in sending them right away or hold off until CIC asks for them?

Last year I got sponsorship approval in Jan 2015 but didn't see in process on Ecas until May 2015. This year you all have in process on Ecas but are still waiting for sponsorship approval email.

Can anyone confirm that police certificates don't expire in 3 months anymore?

According to this http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/infORmation/security/police-cert/intro.asp it expires in 6 months

After sponsorship approval and file transfer to visa office I just got medical request no document request so far. However I do know that it varies depending on the visa office your file is transferred to. Delhi for example did ask some people to resend up to date forms again. The same forms you send now to Mississauga.

What I am surprised with is that one person on the 2014 thread has already had their file transferred to Ottawa after sponsorship approval. All you guys are still waiting before the 2014 applicants and some from last year's batch are also still waiting for sponsorship approval.

It does seem a little unfair when everyone on this particular thread is waiting nearly 5 years for sponsorship approval.
Sometimes really hard to understand the fairness of the whole process.

On a happier note maybe everyone who applied up to Nov 2011 will get their visas before end of this year.

Agree. At least this government is trying to speed it up, seems like. It is a good sign anyway to everyone here.

Not directly related to the post but could someone here answer following question:

Assuming I arrived in Oct 2013 in Canada, me and my spouse meet LICO requirements for 2014, 2015. My spouse met the LICO requirments for 2013, If I add my spouse as a co-signer, Will I be able to apply for my parents in Jan 2017 assuming we both meet LICO requirements in 2016?

If you and/or your spouse meet MNI for 2013, 2014 and 2015, then you're eligible for 2017 PGP intake unless CIC changes some criteria. 2016 income won't count as there won't be any CRA proof of that.
