Hi tried so many times ..Did not work for me either.In my case parents don't have UCI number..When I try with application numer..It get highlight in red..Seems like file no wrong...Can't not understand. I enter same number I received from CIC.

You can try the following

1. Make sure again there is no space in front and after file number
2. Make sure it is correct and start with a letter
3. You can try with another option e.g passport number etc...

Last year in October 2015, my parents came to Canada on super visa. It was multiple entry visa expiring with passport expiry date. But when they came here, they were only given 1 year visa permit. So we applied again for extending visa and we got extension for 2 years. (expiring in 2018) Now my parents are going back to India again for 3 months and I have few concerns or questions.

1. What is the procedure to come back again in Canada ? Do they need to apply again for visa or just super visa insurance is enough ?
2. Since their visa office is Ottawa, if medical request came from CIC and they are not here than can they do their medical in India ?

Please advise.

You can try the following

Well your parents original multiple visa is good enough to come back provided you have super visa insurance. There is no need to re-apply for visa again.
Medical can be done anywhere and better do e-medical where result uploaded electronically.

My parents are from Hyderabad / India, and they had gone through Medical Tests in the month of Dec 2016, and the center that we chose had eMedical facility, once the medical tests were done, they took two to three days to compile and then they have uploaded the files, we did not have to submit Passport size pictures, and it was pretty much fast

I would advise you not to wait until you get medical test request, based on you parents home town do some investigation on Travel time to medial test center, do they have lift facility etc. don't just walk into the center, you may have to take appointment, plus 500 and 1000 currency notes challenges in India. if you parents are old and have issues with BP and blood sugar you may have to go two the three times for various tests. initially when we called them they said its very simple and half day job, but we ended up making four-day trips to center. if we were from outside of Hyderabad it would have been a painful task. initially they only quote basic tests price. in case you have high blood pressure and Blood sugar you may have to take additional tests and they would charge extra too

so it's recommended to do some homework to have a smooth process.

I think if your parents' original visa is NOT expired yet, then they should be fine.

Question for my own knowledge

I heard if your parents visa is still valid and they need extension to stay, you/parnets can just go US side and come back, why you did not did that. May be US visa required for that?

Yes, you need US visa for that and I think they don't allow to cross the border for just extending the visa.you have to apply for extend your stay with new super visa insurance. But it's funny that, I have only submitted insurance for 1 year but the renew the visitor permit for two years.

i have question my parents and dependents got visa in dec 2016 but so far we didnt get our original documents back so any idea wt to do or any contact information that i can contact for original documents. my visa office is new delhi .
