I find it quite amusing reading these forums and seeing messages of 2014 applicants all stressing out if it has been more than 6 months since the application was sent and they didn't get their citizenship yet. Or it has been a month since their test and they still didn't receive the pink letters. It's quite funny , considering us old-timers who have been waiting for 3 sometimes 4 years for getting a resolution for our cases....

file is back to Scaroborough from st clair and waiting for test schedule.
I am hoping this is not very long.
the background check took 6 weeks to be completed

hi. Draker.

Good News at least your file is moving now... my file is also stuck with St.clair

and am waiting for 40 months. CIC state my file under officer review and

RCMP clearance than they will proceed to next step. due to my age my test

not required what will be the next step you think..

Hi Janoo,
My timeline :
Applied : jan 2012
RQ : June 2012
Transfer to st Clair : nov 2012
Assigned to officer: Nov 2014
Back ground check :March 20/2015
Back to Scarborough last week

My parents did not have test due to age but
They still had a very short interview
With officer and oath ceremony 3 weeks after that

LOL...I could not agree more with you. Those folks are taking it for granted, they are whining about waiting for six months for their "deserved" citizenship, seriously? Maybe we should issue them some RQs and CIT0520 and see if they will lose their patience.
This is really becoming a joke that CIC is taking just a few months to process new applications and at the same time there are folks like us that have been waiting 42+ months, completely unfair.

Hi Draker

do you believe that our file is approved and than they send to scarborough office

did you able to get some information about our approval on the file ?

I think approval of the file is at the time of interview or test as the officer has the right to ask for more information at the time of interview.but I think it was no problem with our Rq therefore they sent it back to Scarborough
