Sponsorship application of my Mother (with 1 dependant)

Doc Submitted : 12 Sep, 2014
AOR : 27 Nov, 2014

Now on 05th March, 2015, the ECAS status of my Sponsorship Application changed from "Application Received" to "Decision Made"

Status - "We sent you a letter on February 26, 2015 about the decision on your application. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us".

Its 05th March now and neither i nor my representatives have received any email or post.

Any ideas what 'Decision Made' refers to? and where would have they sent the letter to?

My situation is the same. My online status says the exact same thing but I didn't receiver any email or regular mail. I have called them a couple of times and they said it will take them up to 3 months to resend the email. I asked them to check..my address and email were both correct. But they did tell me that sponsorship is approved and file is on its way to Ottawa. Also they said they are not sure if the cases will be processed in Ottawa or not (whatever that means).

Hi everyone!
i would like to share my story.
Over the weekend I logged into online service and saw the "decision made" status. It said that the decision had been made and that they mailed the letter on mar 2. I didn't get any emails and there was no letter in my reg mailbox on Monday as well. Called them today to verify that they have the correct email address on file and check on the status of the application. The rep was really nice and informed me about the approval and that the file would be transfered to Ottawa. he actually congratulated me, wow! For some reason they had my old email address on file, the one i put in when I applied in 2010; even though, i had provided the new one when i sent the additional docs. Please add me to the list.

Here is my timeline:

Visa Office......: CPP Mississauga
App. Filed.......: NOV-2010
Doc's Request.: JUL-2014
Doc’s Mailed: Oct-2014
AOR Received: DEC-2014
Sponsorship Approval: Mar 2, 2015
File transferred to Ottawa

It is your income on line 150 which CIC use for calculations.

Gross income just means income before tax deductions. You are confusing the issue with rental income as when you get rental income all expenses such as professional fees or repairs can be deducted from the income and then people say their net rent is xxxx. however xxxx still is gross income for tax purpose because you have to pay tax on xxxx.

simply income stated on line 150 of option C printout is the number CIC use. Nothing else matters if this is above LICO.

Hope that helps clear the confusion.

Finally got passport back with Visa stamped. Visa valid for 1 year from the medical date. Took about 2 weeks for passport to return from CIC.
That was a wait of more than 4 years, its like dream come true.
