My personal opinion is medicals for SV should work for PR as well. I submitted medical receipts along with additional documents sent in Sept 2014. CIC should know it anyways as it is in their system

One does not have to wait to do medicals for Family PR application. You can do it anytime during the process. Risk is they will expire if visa is not issued within one year

Thank you for the information. We are thinking to apply for SuperVisa for my parents in India and have them come to Canada. If one gets the medical done in advance, how can they send that information to CIC as there is no medical request form yet.

Also, how long is it taking for Supervisa.. start to end ?

Hi Your planning for SUPERVISA indeed is better choice, in our case too medical for SUPERVISA was done India and processing of SV took two months. So far linkage of SUPERVISA medical with PR case is concerned it is because Sponsor's remains same in SUPERVISA as well as in PR case therefore any movement even in case of passports of parents concern on visiting Canada also update itself in the system in Sponsor's I'd. My father landed in Canada on SUPERVISA hence PR file too has been transferred to Ottawa instead of New Delhi that speaks out updation in system automatically Hope every aspect is clear to you Wish for speedy action in your cade too

You can use your Parent sponsorship application number to submit your medicals. Then you can use the same medical information for Super Visa.

Super Visa could take 4-6 weeks to process.

I checked the spreadsheet and found nobody.

I got my Sponsorship approval on Feb 9, 2015 (file transferred to Ottawa) after that I haven't received anything from CIC.
Mostly they take a month or so to send an email for Medical/PCC.

Hi Guys,
I used different DOB for primary applicant during my Sponsorship in June 2010 and in IMM008 form that i sent Recently.
CIC sent a letter on Feb 2015 that our Application is complete and it is in processing queue.
What should i do in this case?
Could anyone Please suggest me.

Good News,
Finally got passport back with Visa stamped. Visa valid for 1 year from the medical date. Took about 2 weeks for passport to return from CIC.
That was a wait of more than 4 years, its like dream come true.

I wish everyone good luck and hope you all get Visas soon.

Will update on landing experience at border.

Congrats Rajesh. Very fast processing. I think another member Lalu got passport request after 2 months so maybe by May/June your mum should have PR visa.

Could you tell me what time during the day your email was received for medicals.

Anyway good luck with the next stage of processing.
