5 Use of a representative (IMM 5476) - As the Sponsor I am also filling in the forms for my parent. Should I still complete the Use of a Representative as myself?

Guys, I have still not received either any document request by Mail or Email. Are there anyone in the forum still not received it who applied after May'2010 to Nov'2010 or I am alone?

I applied the end of July and just received my documents last week so may be you will get yours soon.

Finally got through to CIC ad they have emailed me the checklist info and yest I still need to fill in the Representative form.

No, u are not alone. I didnot receive doc request as well. but a few day ago I check mailbox and see letter ( the letter wrote that we are processing ur application) but it is not doc request.

They probably stop sending out the docs for a while since they have the issue with the check-list.

ANSWER: I am not filling this form as I am the sponsor not a representative.

I don't think you have too, you can if you want to be on safer side. in my case I sent partially complete forms to my parents. They reviewed it all and gathered all the info to complete it.

Hi Guys, Finally I am able to submit the completed forms and documentation to Mississauga. Does any of you know what are the next steps?

Will they send us any notification that it is transferred to local office (New Delhi in my case) or any notification sort off?

I want to answer this recurrent question about the representative form.

Answer-- yes you can be a representative even if you ard a sponsor. As long as your parents are ok for you to receive the corresponddnce on their behalf.

I have just submitted the additional docs requested:

My timeline:

Visa Office: Manila
Application received : August 2010
Additonal Docs request : July 30, 2014
Submitted Add'l docs to Mississauga: Sept. 9, 2014 via Canada Post's registered mail

Now, I will be waiting for the sponsorship approval and if everything went well, the next steps from my visa office.
