How long delhi is taking to update the medical status? My Mom done hers on Feb 2nd and no updates so far?

For me, I am not sure how long it was. Just and idea/guess i think it was 2 weeks. As far as i can refresh my mind it was not that long.

Also depends upon when the doctor sent it to Visa office

Update on my side is, got Passport Request from Visa office. Going to submit passport today. Almost after 7 years. Lets see. Going to do it quickly

I have gone through it. MP office gave me wrong information and based on that information, i got myself stressed more. I know we never expect that . But it is reality

I have sent Passport yesterday to Ottawa office. My mother is here in Canada.

Does any one know and please tell step by step process to go out of country in US and came back to Canada to complete PR Process for my mother. ?

I think it is rainbow bridge?

I am Canadian Citizen. Can i go/walk with her for this whole process.?

I lives in Brampton, Ontario. I think near by is Niagara Falls border to US. Or any other way?

My consultant, MP office and Immigration office no body helped. I got real help and support from you guys.

Ah! just checked My CIC for my Mother, it says "Decision Made" . In detail last line says, "Medical results have been received"

Anyone can guide about the below mentioned case of my parents. VO is London.

Application filed: June 2010
Processing started : Nov 2015
Medical Request: April 2016
Medical Received: August 2016 (delayed due to additional tests for TB for my Father, which was clear)

Since August 2016 there is no update till now. My brother asked MP in Canada in person and he said BG checking in progress. Its been almost 8 months now and no status update on mycic. Usually how much time it will take for PPR request after Medicals? How much time BG check will take? Anybody has similar waiting experience?

I know, you don't wana hear that, In the beginning, i was also thinking the same, how come?

But reality is

Every file is different. Because of many reasons listed below

1. When you applied Which year? if you applied in 2016, your case may take maximum 3 years. My uncle aunt got PR in 14 Months. On the other hand, I had applied in 2010. Still waiting for PR to be stamped. Many people applied in 2011 already got landed and some are waiting. However new rules and esp new Govt after 2015 case are being processed faster
2. How you show your income, with T4 or self employed
3. Number of dependents in PR application. CIC take time to check education certs etc..
4. In which department Principal applicant (at PR file) was working. Background check, If it is Military or Police may take longer time as compared to person, not doing anything. For e.g. house wife
5. Travel history for PR applicant. If PR applicant traveled in another countries i think it takes longer to check

All above i have learned by reading post from other users here and from my experience for my application. Apart from that, I have no authenticated resource/information for all above

I think after medical every files' time is different depends upon number of dependents also, Past Job history etc. For Military and police take longer time

I would say, request GCMS notes to better know, what is going on. After GCMS notes, i think good try to send reminder to Visa office
