Now what's the next step?

Where do we send medical confirmation e receipt ?

Should we just scan it and send it back to the email address from where we received medical request or is there any other email address?

Send it to the email for Ottawa given to you on your sponsorship letter.
Hopefully they will acknowledge once the results have been received.
Also your Ecas will be updated in a few weeks as well.

If you don't mind sharing which panel physician did you use for the e medicals.

I checked on sponsorship letter they did not mention any e mail address for correspondence. . Should we just reply back to same email address from which we got medical?

They got it done in chandigarh from shobha Kansal.

Application submit-9th November 2010

Documents request- 30th june 2014

Approval of documents on 9th Dec 2014

Medical email on 28th April 2015

Then the embassy send another email for original documents on 8th June and also mention the delay on online status

File processing start - June 2015
Documents return and decision made status-14th October 2015

ppr- 10th of February 2016
Visa office - Ottawa
Now waiting for visa

Hey all,

Anyone here whose has done PNGP sponsorship from ADVC office and knows the timeline for it? I have submitted my Passports to ADVC office on 14th Jan 2016 as i got PPR on 24th Dec 2015.
Its just this waiting period is killing me. Need to know if there is something wrong or they just take this long for visa stamping.

I hope now they quickly send you passport request. You have been waiting over 3 months.
Don't forget to mail the receipt to Mississauga. Sent it by courier so you get confirmation of delivery.

Got another email from CIC confirming that they have received the receipt and allocated it to my application.

Really excited now........... Cant wait for PPR now ;-)

And I received this email on Saturday. Looks like cic is working overtime

Wondering about flagpoling ... I've read all the other forms about it.. Usually workers do it. Not too much about Parent sponsorship. I am wondering if it's possible with a non english speaking Mother. Am I allowed to answer for her or translate ? I know officers usually ask about criminal records and talk about SIN cards, etc. Any experiences in this forum ? Let me know. This forum has been a huge part of support. Getting close to the end of a 5.5 year journey.

Is your mother currently in Canada. If so flag-polling makes sense. As she is a PGP applicant I see no problem in you being able to translate for her.

What happens is when you enter Canada by road the officer in the cubicle will be informed by you that your mother is landing and activating PR status. You will then be asked to park your car and go into the office area and complete the signing of paperwork and will get a copy of the COPR.

During this process you will be able to accompany your mother and speak on her behalf.

Do let us know how long it takes to get your passport and visa stamped from Ottawa once you has submitted the passport.
