Hi Guys,

Just wanted to share the good news with you all and shed some light for your reference.

Applied April 2010
Additional Document Sent to Mississauga CPC October 2014
Sponsorship Approval Received and File Transferred to New Delhi Visa Office May 2015
Medical, Police Clearance Certificate, and Additional Forms Requested June 1, 2015 and I Submitted all to NDVO June 30 2015
Passport Request from New Delhi Office Received on November 1, 2015
Passport Sent to Ottawa CPC on November 1, 2015 ( I sent to Ottawa because my parents are in Canada since 2014 on Super Visa)
Stamped Visa and Passport Received December 24, 2015
Landing at White Rock BC Border was done December 24, 2015

- Did you received any correspondence after submitting docs on (June 30) and before PPR (Nov 1) ?
If no, is this normal wait time ?

- Do you have any dependent ?

And they expire after that if my parents
Do not do the landing in this period before
Medical expires will they have to do the

Hi prince nijjar,
Because of death of your father, ndvo is asking for new amended form, on which your mother will be principal applicant, its doesn't mean that you need to start your application again. When you send this new amended form to ndvo , then ndvo re-issue visa again, where your mother will be principal applicant, if you still didn't convince, then you can consult any lawyer, to make sure. Ndvo is asking that form to re-issue visa again.

Visas are usually valid for up to 1 year from the date of the medical exam. I assume your parents did medical in sept 2015 that is why visa is valid up to sept 2016.

As long as they land by sept 2016 and nothing changes they will not be required to redo medicals or submit new police certificates.

After we sent additional documents the london visa office has emailed us 2 times for additional documents and this time they just asked for my brother's studies for one year. How much time will they possibily take for ppr? Can anybody explain or has been in this situation? They asked for mt brothers (personal history /employment/ unemployment) for one year.

yes everything was sent earlier this time they just asked about my borther's 10 month information which we didnt mention to them because he was waiting for his result and uni admission and told us to reply to.them via email

It does not not delay file but processing time is about 20 days.
you send a case specific enquiry to your visa office and need to include application number in the subject line.

Hi Everyone,

Just want to update everyone on my case. I got sponsorship approval on sep 28 and files were transferred to Ottawa. There was an option I can do upfront medical. However, I decided NOT to do it because I dont know how long this will take and if medical will expire etc. On December 19, I got medical request and this needs to be done within 30 days. My parents just did their medical today. I will update you if any news. For whoever emailed me about the upfront, no i didnt do it.
