Guys

I sent a follow up email to CIC-Ottawa as i was fed up waiting for PPR.

My parent's medical was done on 3rd Nov 2015 and received by CIC in the same week.

Ecas was updated that medical was received. However, its still shows 'in process' under both categories.

I will let the group know if CIC replied to my email.

Guys, i got the reply back to my email from cic this morning. No good news, its just a standard reply as below:

''Our office confirms that your application is at our office and is being processed as per our regulatory timeline. Please note that we cannot confirm when your file will be ready for finalization.



We do not require any information from you at the present time. An officer will contact you if further information is required. Please ensure when submitting documents that they are still valid and will not expire within six (6) months as this could delay your application.''

You got to be patient.

There are members on this forum whose parents did their medical 7 months ago and still haven't heard anything from their respective VO. You will be hearing from your visa office the latest by May - June 2016. This is the average turnaround time after the medical exam.

Wow, I was checking the spreadsheet and I thought the average us 2-3months?? One or two people got PPR within a month from medical date??

Hi Everyone,

Just came back home after getting parents landed immigrants at rainbow bridge. Here is the experience

Left home at 10:00 am with parents ( no US visa)
Reached rainbow bridge at 11:30 am
Went to US side and told the officer the purpose is to flagpole.
He advised me to park the car on the side and wait
Another officer came back with our passport in 5 minutes and gave us a white paper to show at Canadian side

Never left the car

At the Canadian side, told the officer about parents need to become landed immigrants
He gave a yellow paper and asked to park on the side and enter the building
Entered the building and officer made my parents sign the copr and all done

Total time spend 30 minutes

did ndvo update medical result on ecase, that medical result have been received or not, did you order gcms notes, what did you find in those notes regarding medical .

A week ago ecase updated medical received. I did not order GCMS note yet but I am thinking to order one in January.

Guys we sent all the required documents a week before where we got separation documents from both the wices nd my father, Please tell when should we email them about our desicion ? Because they are acting very slow in our file

Hi Guys,

Went to get my mom and we landed at 10:30 Dec 11th. My mom was the last one off the flight since we had to use a wheelchair. By the time we got through the immigration it was after 11 pm and the area was almost empty with only 2 persons processing so we got through quickly.
