Hello Seniors,

Can any body please share how much time it takes to get Passport request after medical from London visa office for pakistan applicants. My parents sponsorship case submitted in 2007 is in progress and we have done the medical that was requested in June 2015 due to sputum and xrays medical finally completed in early september since then we are waiting to hear from LVO about PPR, I have inquired from them they are saying they will get back in due time.

Finally got decision made on ecas today. How soon should I expect to get PPR? Does it come in email or regular mail?

Ecas got updated to medical received around 15 days back. I paid RPRF on Oct 23rd.

It really varies from case to case. I have seen ppl getting ppr within a mth of their medical. My parents got medicals done in july with additional test in august and today my ecas got updated to decision made (86 days after medical test). But in my case there is a dependent as well and I'd say that was the reason for delay as we were asked for his police clearance and fingerprints after the medicals.

Hello All,

Just an update, my In laws got approved and their PP returned with stamp w/c expires on Sept 2016. By next year our home will be fully packed. Exciting yet anxious, hopefully everyone gets along with each other.

"We started processing your application on March 27, 2015".

After landing and submitting the COPR to immigration officer (IO) which will be signed by the applicant in front of the IO, you just have to wait for the PR card to be mailed in 6-8 weeks.

So we don't have to fill in any forms or give them any photos? They had requested a passport photo when we submitted the passport which we sent to them. Is this what it is for?

Yes that should be the photo they will use for the PR card.

Application received: 2010
Started processing application on July 29, 2015
Medical results have been received

I am hoping to hear back further very soon.
