I think ur application is same as me as I have the same status that they started processing on March 30 2015 . Is there any other update on your file after that?

Yes, you need to submit it to CIC.


Thank you. I just emailed CIC the copy of eMedical receipts (with barcode) they received from doctor.

On a side note, can we track the status of that emedical?? I googled it but could not find any link to track down the status. The receptionist at doctors office said that we can track the resuts??

You can only track it from ECAS as medical results have been received. There are times that PPR comes first before medical results appeared in ECAS just like in my case. If there are no additional tests needed, PPR will be coming soon.

Most of our members who received PPR waited between 1-2 months after medical completed. But there are some who waited more than 2 months. Anyway, as long as there is no issue on your parents' medical, you will receive PPR soon.

My mom did a 3-day sputum test sometime in June 2015 and did her final xray on Aug. 24, 2015. She had a scar on her lungs from 1970's lung problem, the reason she had taken these tests. After she did her final xray, they saw a haze on her lungs and was given a 7-day antibiotics. She was told just to wait for CIC's email for the next step. Then on Sept. 30th, i received the passport request.

Based on the email you received from CIC, it says further medical info is required, there must be lacking info even after final xray. It may be another test or need some medicines. I can only guess. You need to call asap the panel physician what to do next.

Btw, why did they require for sputum test? In my mom's case, it was because of very old scar.

Hi Guys,

My parents sponsorship time line is as below:

Application Submitted: September 2010
Complete Application requested by CPC- Mississauga: August 2014
Application Submitted to CPC- Mississauga: October 2014
Additional document requested: January 2015
Additional Documents Submitted: January 2015

There was no update from CIC after that. I called CIC call center in Feb to confirm they received my package as they has returned my initial application. CIC call center didn't see anything in their system and sent a request to CPC- Mississauga and told me to call back in 6 weeks. I called CIC call center in the first week of October 2015 and they told me, they received a response from CPC- Mississauga, saying my application was complete in 21st April 2015. CIC call center told me that it takes up to 10 months to process the application for sponsorship. Is this information accurate?

Today (4 Nov, 2015), CIC website shows that they started processing my application on July 21st , 2015. So I'm a bit confused as to what is really happening. Can anybody shed some light on this.

I think your case is a bit same like me as i applied too in Sep 2010 and the line was added that they had started working on my application on March 30 2015. But after that nothing yet...

Our Original Documents were returned On October 19,2015 with Ecas status showing "Decision made".
We have not heard anything since then from New Delhi VIsa Office.
After How long time does NDVO send PPR once Ecas status gets changed to Decision made.
